Kashmir Cottage in Sandwell

Great restaurant, really good food and excellent customer service - made to feel very welcome.

The curries are VERY VERY tangy. Almost like a tomato soup. Not what you would expect from a curry. Also compared with other Indian restaurants the curry portion size is about half the standard size here. Sorry to say after visiting hundreds of Indian restaurants up & down the country this has to be one of the worst curries I’ve ever had. It that tangy I’m afraid it was inedible.Many of The starters are quite/tasteless, however The naan breads are cooked perfectly but Its a shame about everything else.

Ordered a portion each of Lamb biryani, Chicken biryani and Prawn biryani to be delivered. It was a disappointment since none of them tasted biryani. The accompanying curries ordered too were avarage

ordered chiken biryani..arrived after one and half hour and its totaly taste less..and infact it wasnt buryani just rice mixed with some botian they dont even know what bryani is so how can they sell rice on the name of biryani???and it stinks no wounder their hygine rating is only 3 i put in the bin and order somewhere else..dont order from them realy bad experience

I've been many times over many years,lovely friendly staff ,& lovely ,consistent dishes.

The Restaurant Kashmir Cottage accepted my ordered on Uber eats prepared it and when I called them around ETA they said the driver left and your order will be arriving in 5 mins. The driver didn’t arrive for the next 60 mins so I called them again asking for it. That’s when the restaurant told me they hadn’t received my order and they can either deliver it in 45 more mins if not i could cancel it.1. They lied about the driver being on the way.2. They literally didn’t prepare the food in first place.3. They clearly had accepted the order on the Uber eats app and it was updating the ETA.4. Yes I will get a refund but while ordering food it’s not about the money it’s about me waiting for my food for hours just to find out it wasn’t coming in the first place

Great first experience at a restaurant often recommended by friends. Delicious, rich curry with a healthy chilli kick, fresh, great quality sundries and friendly service.The location can be tricky to park in, but I personally feel the food is easily worth a short walk.Will be there again, maybe tomorrow...

My favourite local (clean)Restaurant love the Peshwari naan! Staff are really attentive and friendly. Good choices and prices are decent. Plenty of parking on roads and nearby. If you order popadoms they give you a generous selection of chutneys. Love this little place xx

One of my favourite restaurants. Come here for their butter chicken. Excellent service and lovely people.

The food was amazing , the manager couldn't be more accommodating, polite and very humble when we complimented his establishment. It has 2 floors of seating so 60 covers in total! We traveled from Leicester to eat there. A highly recommended place and earned a solid 9.4 / 10
