First time here. Very impressed with the quality of the fish and chips. New owners, I believe, and if this is their MO, then they should do well. 👏

Under new management and refurbished which was a surprise. Still have orange chips as an option. These were nice. Service was extremely slow and certainly not with a smile.

Best chips in the area! The orange chips reminded me of my old school days.

The standards have dropped considerably of late. The Fish is stale with soggy batter. I’ll let you judge from the pics.

Great value food, good portions and delicious, especially the orange chips. Ordered via Deliveroo and unfortunately the 1st order came with tomato on my food when I'm allergic, the restaurant apologised and quickly sent out a new one by refunding me for a replacement order in cash. When something goes wrong, how the problem is resolved is a good indication of what a company is truly like. I have a lot of respect for them resolving the problem as quickly and as easily as possible, hence why I've still given them 5 stars, I recommend them and will definitely be using them again soon.

Easily the BEST fish and chips I've had since moving to Birmingham. Tried so many around edgbaston harborne bearwood and Quainton but this is easily the best. Small proportionate amount of batter on the chips make for a crispy bite and the curry sauce has a little bit of a kick. Will definitely be a regular here

Dreadful. Absolutely just... terrible. We ordered some food from here recently and it's really not exaggerating to say it's up there as one of the worst takeaway experiences we've had in years. The menu says 'cod' and has a picture of fish and chips with it. But what do we get, yep you guessed it just cod, no chips. Why even have a listing for just cod. Sigh. Anyway, that's not the worst of it though. The fish stank and was soggy, cold and pretty much inedible... The other items ordered were similarly awful.We have been there in person a good few times, and that's certainly not a pleasant experience. The staff are rude, seemed like they can't be bothered. I ordered chicken and chips from there once. You could've used the piece of chicken to hammer nails with. The chips aren't really chips either, they're those yellow chip ones, which I do like, but why no option for normal chips? It's not exactly cheap there either...Thought I'd give it a chance after its recent reopening, there isn't really other chip shops in Bearwood, but just fed up with it now and won't be taking my business there anymore.
