Major Curry Affair in Sandwell

Rubbish customer service. They need to update their websites closing time. Rang twice to book and they say they're not taking any bookings and this was at 8.20pm and they say they stop taking orders for 9pm and close at 9.30pm. Why would you even ask on the original phone call 8.20pm on what time would you want a booking on the day if they close at 9pm like they expect someone to arrive in the next 5mins. Idiots!

Food was excellent, fantastic service, didn't need to wait long for food and very good prices. I advise everybody to pick here and try it out . You.wont be disappointed.

1st time here. It was really busy and had no reservation. Friendly staff still managed to fit us in. Food was brilliant. Best curry I have ever tasted. Definitely my new local restaurant.

Apparently at this restaurant you can only eat here if every person orders a curry?!?!?We ordered a curry rice chips side dish salad but that wasn’t enough for me and my hubby we had to order another curry, management policy. Been for loads of curry’s never been made to order a curry each 😟😟Starters popadoms and chutney tray were disappointing, the onion salad was lacking taste no red sauce or lime pickle . My Madras was ok hubby did not like his Jalfrezi. The Tarka Dhal lacked taste and was watery. This restaurant did not live up to the reviews left on here. Only positive I would give is it’s reasonably priced but I’d rather pay more for tastier food.Where we was sat was by the door and it was chilly. The staff were friendly however seemed to be having a better evening than us they were having a right good giggle 🤣🤣

Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Was with 11 others and none of us had any complaints about the food.

First time eating here and got to say all our 3 meals were beautiful, no complaints about anything. Very good and friendly service 👌

1st time at Major Curry Affair. We wasn't disappointed the food was spot on for flavour and the service was excellent 👌 We was really looked after by all the staff that work there. We will definitely be going back again in a few days. For a nice meal as it's my wife's birthday. She loves the desserts 🍨. Returned for my birthday. Just couldn't fault the service or the food. I had a Chicken Madras Clay pot absolutely brilliant and so tasty this Restaurant is definitely my favourite and would definitely recommend you trying it if you like a good curry 🍛😋

Food was really nice and price was very good, paid around £15 for a shared starter, two curries, two rice and roti (50% off for eat out scheme). Nice atmosphere and decor. Would have been five stars except the service could have been a little better.

Booked in this evening to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent as usual. I had Tandoori fish for starter, hubby had Tava kebab. For main I had Salmon Salon, hubby had Jhall Chops. Everything was cooked to perfection, my fish was so moist and flavourful, I tried hubbys lamb chops and they were so tender. The poppadoms melted in the mouth and the garlic naan was light and fresh. Thank you Tariq and staff fir a very pleasant evening. Hope to be back soon, but in the meantime, I'm sure we'll be having the odd take away. Would highly recommend 👌👌
