Railway Inn in Sandwell

First impression from the outside is not the best. However, food is really delicious, drinks are priced well and service is fast and very friendly.

Thought would try this place for the first time having driven past it a few times.it was quite busy.girl behind the bar was friendly when ordering the drinks.ordered chicken tikka sizzler for starter. The chicken was of a bland flavour.i always try my chicken without the sauce .very bland .its OK having it with the sauce but there was no marination in the chicken.it was very noisy with little kids running around and felt cold .

Great food, huge portions, way too much for me and the wife to eat, should of shared.Lovely friendly staff, really busy on the weekends.But definitely would return.

Great curry! Bar staff are quite lazy and sighed everytime I placed an order which was kind of hilarious but still couldn't fault the food.

Very impressive menu, ample choice, nice and tasty food good service did not have to wait long for our food . Value for money, would visit again

UpdateOne year later and I'm still coming here.Good size food portions.Good quality food.Plenty of TVs to watch sports.It can get busy, so I would recommend booking in advance.If you were late eater, go there around 21:30 and most times you can get a seat without booking.Food finishes at 22:30First time here and I was impressed.Very friendly staff.Great food and reasonable prices will definitely be coming back again.

Beer is good, food is fine. Not the place if you dont like screaming children running round unsupervised. As this is a constant in this pub. Seems to be overlooked and actually encouraged at times. So if you can’t tolerate screaming kids stay well away..

I had the Railway Inn Special, the goat curry on the bone. Best curry I've ever had. My other half had the chicken tikka massalla and said hers was amazing too, definitely another visit on the cards

Tried Sharabi chicken before and asked if they could do sharabi lamb instead. Tastes epic 👌defo one to try. Chilli prawns were also really good but a bit overpriced for the portion size.

Amazing Real Indian food and awesome taste. Being an Indian and that too from Delhi is not easy to please my taste pallette but this is simply amazing!!Best of the area indeed.
