What can I say about the old bush well I came to visit son 3 years ago and went into the bush for a meal wow got a real black country welcome from staff who treated us as old friends.Especially a guy called Palmer what an amazing man so friendly he introduced us to the regulars and again treated us as family.Food was good and reasonably priced as where the drinks now every time we come up north we will not leave till we pop in and the reception we get is always the same.So if you want good food and drink a friendly atmosphere I suggest you give the old bush a tryOn Saturday night we went in and there was a live band which was excellent everyone had a really good night I recommend you go on a live band night just to see Palmer dance.

THE BEST PUB! The staff are the best and always feel welcomed especially Monika and Nathan. The food is banging, service is awesome as always. I come here every weekend to support the team.

Heard a lot of good reviews on this place so thought we'd pay a visit, had chicken curry, I noticed the chicken pieces seemed dry and had skewer marks in, as tho it had been on a BBQ or a grill. The next morning both of us were ill, couldn't get off the loo and feeling really sick, so evidently the skewered chicken had been "re-used in another dish, sorry to say but we won't be eating at the old bush again,

Lovely place for drinks and food. The owner is welcoming friendly and the staff were polite, talkative and served us with a smile... The food was tasty and yummy, definitely will be going back, well worth the drive from Leicester. 👍🏾

The food and staff are lovely. So welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great for families also. Lovely beer garden in the summer right on the canal. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Went last sat for my bros winning boxing celebrations and ordered some food, chicken Tikka masala was banging lots of sauce just how I like it, family order the wraps and said they was really nice, couldn't fault the manager and the girls. Will be back for some more food in the future. Was lively and has some karaoke on too 👍👍😊

Maddi the barmaid is absolutely brill, fast service and brilliant atmosphere! All staff so friendly and caring, feels very comfortable I’d recommend to anyone. My new local for definite! I’d also like to put a comment about Nathan, brilliant man always the first conversation when I walk in.

The food is outstanding, the gaffer is very friendly and welcoming, had a mixed grill which was beautiful, wife had a biriany, generous portions and came in 15 minutes of ordering.Will definitely come again..
