The Crown and Anchor in Sandwell

Having previously not been a fan of this pub we booked just because there was 50% off mains. We are so glad we did. It is our local so when we were served our nachos we were pleasantly surprised. We shared the £3.49 plate as we had both ordered the belly pork sizzler. This was the best pub meal we have had in years. We finished with a Cadbury chocolate ice cream sundae. They had run out of flakes so had filled it with chocolate buttons instead. Yummy..we will definitely be going again. We'll done the Jinglers.

2 meals for less than £10.i had vegetable lasagna with side salad.looked a bit burnt around sides but i have to say it was most enjoyable, other half had fish n chips he said was good.why stay in and cook?.???

warm, welcoming and pleasant. good food and good prices. Nice friendly staff. what more could you want?

Have used this place for years,as it is near to where some friends live.One of my favourite venues.Very good food and drink.Friendly and efficient staff.Good for sports fans with areas for watching TV for live football matches etc.Also, good areas for families etc for dining and drinking.Would recommend to all!

Lovely sunny afternoon,so me and my friends from work had a drink on the way home. We sat out the front on the benches. Lovely clean and tidy pub and a perfect pint.

It was depressing tbh there was only one good server the rest of the customer service was either adiquate or rude. Not mutch choiceFor people woth allergens and one lady just rudly chucked our desserts on to the table not even asking who's it for. And the place wasn't even busy at all so there was no need for the server to rush everything with the customers. As at the end of the day its the customers that make the buisness. I only gave the second star for the male server who done things politely. Other then that the food was good worth the price just focus some more on customer service.

Service was good but I was warmer outside in the snow with the heater on in the smoking area, the place was like a freezer. The food and service was nice but would have been better if I didn't have to wear my coat when eating it. The manager told us the heating was on but took a while to heat up and after 3 hours of being there it was still the same so I think they need to contact the gas supplier.

Good food at a great price. Free quiz on Tuesday nights. Friendly & helpful staff. Basic no frills pub. Great for meet ups with mates, family eat out etc.

Went here to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and so glad we did. We all had fantastic night. Lovely staff, great food and nice atmosphere. 10/10. Would give more more stars if I could. Great.

Looking for a play to go half way between me and my friend. Ended up finding this lovely little pub.2 places to park.Mainly locals in there. Barman was friendly.Food was ok and not over priced which was nice.Toilets at both ends of the place.Vape/smokers area around the back.Would recommend to anyone passing by!
