The George in Sandwell

Food here is high quality, far ranging, very tasty and good value. Laura and Lucy also provided excellent service and the food arrived speedily. Overall a great eating experience, one complaint being that the music was a bit loud for 8PM.

Lovely night in the beer garden Friday enjoying the weather food and drinks were spot on. Only let down was having to reside to inside as little kids running and shouting around the beer garden at half 10 at night.

We used the function room for my daughters communion party. Carly and Connor were absolute stars couldn’t do enough for us the room was set up for us when we arrived. Offer of help packing up and even with the still not working for the tea and coffee they was running backwards and forwards making them for us. Would Definately use again. food they provided was of high standard and I’m am so grateful to them for all the help they gave. Also heather and Tracy were fantastic in helping to with everything.

Usually it's a good local, but on this ocassion it was horrible. Arrived to pub at 12. Went to bar and ordered drinks and food.. it took over an hour before food arrived. Half of my chicken breast was burned. Went to ask for some salt and ketchup.. by time someone bother to serve me food was cold. And it is not that they were very busy.. it was more fact that some staff did disapearing act and left less experianced staff to run bar.

I took my son to The George to visit the Easter bunny for breakfast. It was an amazing service. The breakfast was hot and well cooked. The Easter bunny was an incredible character. The staff have catered and organised a terrific event. When we arrived tables were already laid out with name reservations and an activity pack was set out on each table. We had lots of things to do as the bunny greeted everyone. I'd definitely recommend that people attend this event with their children in future Easter bunny visits.

Came for something to eat first time we have been in. Seemed like a busy lunch but the young lad and the manager were both lovely and polite. Recommended the jerk skewers which were absolutely delicious.Got a great board advertising all the up and coming live music do defo going to venture here with some friends

Booked a table for my daughters, staff are fabulous they accommodated us. Brought my daughters cake out and were really friendly. THANKS!

Had s pint and watched the game. Atmosphere was okay, clean and nice. The kitchen was closed 😫. Wil visit again for some food.
