Very poor breakfast this morning. Not sure if they have a new chef as its not normally this bad . The bacon was raw had to send it back andvthe sausage looked like it had been cooked the night before and left to sit all night. On leaving we noticed a few scattered plates on different table that had untouched sausage on them . Looks like it wasn't only us who had the problem.

Firstly the staff tried their best however the chef needs to do their job properly and know what exactly is on the menu. My wife and I popped in for lunch. We ordered the baguettes, fish fingers and chicken goujons. Menu clearly stated with melted cheese and mayo. So how did our food arrive??? A freezing cold baguette with hot food inside and bits of iceberg lettuce. No mayo or melted cheese. I asked for no cheese but my wife did. She got the plastic square cheese in hers, cold, no mayo either. Also on the plate came a rocket salad. I get an allergic reaction from rocket. There was no mention of a side salad on the menu. Also to note the order was delivered to our table after a few minutes.I called the waitress over and mentioned that there was no mayo or melted cheese so she offered to get us new ones. This took a bit more time but I saw her grab mayonnaise from the restaurant to take back to the kitchen. So the kitchen don't have mayonnaise in the kitchen???? Our new food arrived. This time loads of mayo and lettuce in the baguette. As though the chef was proving a point. My wife's baguette had melted cheese, but still the plastic cheese toasted in the baguette. In the end we only ate half of our food. Whoever the manager is needs to see exactly what the chef produces and quality control it as its so poor. Its not rocket science to make up a baguette but for some reason the chef clearly has a problem. We won't be going there again. I really should have spoken to the manager there and then and got my money back as it was just awful presentation and food quality.

A very poor experience, the table was filthy. We asked for it to be cleaned which the waiter did a horrific job of. It took around 40 minutes for food to arrive. The burger bun was cold and brittle. The meat inside luke warm. Having had better meals at other Hungry Horse's it was a shame we had such an poor time as it could have been so much better.

Food was terrible brought the crown of burgers which tasted like frozen Mcdonald burgers and my glass had lipstick stains still on it definitely won't go again and there's much better places close by like mcdonalds where I can go Get the same food much cheaper and better

I went for a meal on 3rd January for my birthday. I was disappointed with both the service of the staff and quality of the food. We were only ever spoken to when we went to a member of staff, no greeting on entrance or shown to our reserved table. We also had booked a table for 10 but my name was on a table reserved for 6, we used a free table that was next to us but it was covered in used plates and glasses. These were only cleared when we physically asked a member of staff to clean the used table. When we tried to order, the majority of food was not available so we had to alter what we wanted around that, the same with a few of the drinks. Our food was brought out in two sections, with an approx wait of 10 mins between dishes and none of the food was hot, was just warm as if it had been sat around for a while. I have emailed to discuss my disappointment quite a few times to try and resolve this privately but had no response, it seems like no one is interested in customer feedback or apologising and rectifying.Overall, I was excited to come here for my birthday and managed to convince my party despite their interests in other restaurants, due to my previous visits being good. However, I am sad to say that this pub will no longer be my first choice of go-to. I hope someone can take a look at my emails soon and get back to me regarding my experience.

Not very good when I went. I went for breakfast and it's wasn't nice a all. The food is poor here. The last time I was here I asked for a rare steak.,it took three attempts to get the steak right. By that time the rest of the food on the plate. There was no corona virus at that time and no staff shortages. This time there were staff shortages and the girl serving us really tried her best. So it's not a Thumbs-up for the business but a Thumbs-up to the girl who served us. Just an update on 12.01.22. I went in for breakfast again and asked them for runny eggs, because the last time I asked they were like bullets. This time the eggs were done perfectly. All it takes is a little effort on their part and they'll get a good review. So this time it's a Thumbs-up from me.

Very average place, food is good but not amazing, pricing is reasonable. Good for a quick meal at a fair price. Staff could have been a bit quicker and seemed a bit happier if I was to find a criticism.

Absolutely disgusting experience. Very disappointed as never had issues here. Ordered classic chicken tikka, unfortunately I didnt notice it until the end the silver bowl which holds chicken tikka was dirty, oily and bits of burnt fat or chalkcoral and the rice was right next to it!!! So bad, so disgusting. All the staff are ignoring you, we ordered botteled drinks, usually were coming with glass with ice, now with just a paper straw which is too short and falls in to the bottle so you cant get it out. Asked waitress for glasses with ice but they never arrived. Very, very poor service. I used to like to eat here, oh and my fav roasted tomato soup is not on the menu anymore 😭

Do not waste your money. We waited over an hour for a wrap and a cheeseburger, which when they did eventually arrive was cold, soggy, and tasteless. Staff are friendly, Luke the waiter was extremely apologetic, offered us complimentary desserts but yet again, we waited & waited and they never arrived! There are so many other places to eat in the area that I would not recommend this place at all based on our disappointing experience.

Foods not the best, the big plate cod and chips i had was just a small cod unfortunately and was very greasy and dry. The atmosphere was very good in there. Staffs are very nice and cheeky.
