Abbey Deli Shrewsbury in Shropshire

Great service and good quality food.

I've driven past this place countless times whilst I've been helping out on the buses but I've never had the chance to call in until today. Thanks to Shrewsbury currently being wetter than Neptune's Nipple's Abbey Foregate has been turned into an impromptu bus station. As the deli is within walking distance I thought I'd amble down to see what delights awaited me. After a quick browse of the menu I settled for a breakfast cob (I'm from Derbyshire, I can't bring myself to call it a bap)Well, what can I say?! It was bloody lovely! I wish I hadn't waited until now to try it out. I shall definitely make time to call in again.

Such great customer service! There was a mix up via the app I used to order and the staff member I spoke to on the phone was incredibly helpful. Our food was delivered warm and right on time, despite the confusion. Would highly recommend

The staff was lovely and I enjoyed having a tea and cheese toasties there in the outside seating area.

Regular customer here. WELL NO MORE. Waited over half an hour today and food was wrong AGAIN. Served by inexperienced staff who quite blatantly have NOT A CLUE on how to serve when backs against the wall ie busy. VERY DISAPPOINTED REALLY AM. NEVER EVER AGAIN.STAY AWAY. VERY POOR

Lovely little place, virtually unlimited options for s/w, panini or baguette fillings. Other hot food available and brilliant friendly staff with a wicked sense of humour! Will definitely return next time I'm in Shrewsbury!
