Visited the Apley Kitchen. Food nice but organisation is very poor. Went in through one door to be told we had to use other door. Went there to be met by the same lady who was at the first door. Seems she couldn't say, 'take a seat' at the first door. Then we go on a list to take our order, regardless of who is ready. Waitress then went to wrong table.Had a three year old. Asked if his food could out first. Told yes but his was the last meal to arrive. No signs of the system or what's expected ... largely because from observation the staff don't really know either. Lack of working process that's based around the customer.Overall ok food that's possibly worth the effort but could really do with some good leadership and organisation.

Being shown a table that you don't want to sit on. Asked to sit somewhere else. Was told it is reserved.? For 3 hours time, I said we will only be here 30 mins. It was changed.Egg tasted of oil, other than that OK.The young girl who looked after us was very polite.

Great breakfast and staff. Really good quality. Just a shame they said they couldn't do poached eggs (which i find strange) but the could fry them. Then transpired they didnt have the ingredients for eggs royal. Slightly confusing but got there in the end. Very popular and lovely place to start the day. Thanks.

Lovely place to go and visit. I went there with family and we all enjoyed the food. Filter coffee wasn't the best but that's the only thing I wouldn't recommend. There is also a shop which sells local food and great sauces

Always a treat! Gluten free cooked breakfast. Make sure you are there before 11:30am for breakfast. Lovely food. Kids could've shared the huge cake slices. We'll be back!

Visited here today, shopped first then went for cake and a drink. Staff were lovely and attentive (except for one sugar for my pot of tea but i did ask for more). Unfortunately i was very surprised to see two women and a baby in a pushchair walk in and straight to the counter. They wanted takeaways but with coronavirus still around i would have thought there would be a sign to ask people to give some social distance away from the counter. When they were served with their takeaways after helping themselves to straws, (their fingers again) they took their goodies to where the scones and cakes were. Then proceeded to pick each scone up, not very nice when those scones in their wrappers are placed on top of your serviette on your plate, so you're opening the scone wrapper that they've touched and putting it on your plate Even the jars of jam and cream they had to mess with. We still have to be careful and hopefully the manager may put a sign up for this. Otherwise it was good cake and drinks

We visited Apley Kitchen for a light snack. I had light bite pate and my husband had bbq chicken panini. Followed by Carrot Cake aand Lemon Drizzle cake. It was delicious. Would recommend a visit. The food choice is very good and they do an amazing Sunday Lunch. Which after seeing it come out to the table next to that is what we will be back for lol.
