Fab find on our overnight stay in Shrewsbury. Situated in town we walked to the restaurant which by 7pm was already busy. Great food, courteous staff and well priced. Maybe the front of the restaurant could have blinds or curtains?? It looks very bare and the windows are big!! But apart from that it's a winner...eat here you'll lv it!!

Absolutely fantastic food and service at Avatar. Wonderful selection to choose from on the menu. Staff were very attentive and extremely polite and helpful. Really nice atmosphere inside the restaurant which was very busy. Best curry I've had!

Another wonderful avatar experience. Choosing from the menu is so difficult as everything sounds delightful! This time I had the Rajasthani lamb - it was delicious. The lamb was succulent and tender served served in a sauce with the perfect blend of heat, flavour and aromatics. Avatar always figures in our trips to Shrewsbury and never disappoints.

We had the momo and the sekuwa to start, both were excellent. I've never had duck so tender in the sekuwa. This was followed by the lamb shank and the haravara chicken. The Haravara chicken is one of the most unique dishes I have had, very complex in flavour and was delightful. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall this was one of the best curry experiences I have had! There was two of us, we both had starters, mains, sides and drinks and it came to under £50. Had a wonderful time here, definitely recommended!
