Bandon Arms in Shropshire

We had a discount card through the door it looked good and a big improvement on what we knew from years ago the Bandon arms had gone upmarket much needed in Bridgnorth. WRONG upped there prices but not the food which was worse than ever, tasteless prawn cocktail served in a half pint mug £6.50 wasted. Dry Fish and chips, chips were good but ran out of tartar sauce great, lots of things missing of the menu, loads of excuses from the staff,£48 with discount card a complete waste of money. Marstons didn't want know should of complained on the night, the lady told it may be better next time,,,,, likely.Oh and the place is scruffy doors needed painting and if you do go by the Bandon look at the window sills the windows will full pot soon, nothing nice about the place.

Friendly service. Excellent food- beautifully served. Lovely atmosphere. Our dog who behaved very well also enjoyed the experience so we will be able to bring her again!

We hadn't been to the Bandon Arms for quite a while, I was really surprised how much the prices had gone up. Although we had an alright meal the meal did not compare favourably with the prices we paid. We paid £54 for an average burger and chips, a plain pasta meal, a child's meal, 2 puddings and 3 soft drinks (at linch time). We had a very similar meal in a pub that was on par with the Brandon Arms for £20 less two weeks ago. I think it is over priced . If money is not an issue to you, enjoy.The staff were helpful though.

We have eaten here on several occasions & each time it's been a lovely experience. Good menu choices & served by friendly staff. The interior decor is pleasing & there's a lovely, separate area for people with canine companions.

Went for a family meal. Food was excellent. I can't fault the service. Really good experience. I would recommend it. Prices are average. Went back and had a great salad with chicken. Great service

Another great lunchtime. Great place to meet friends, excellent food, attentive but not overpowering service. Well priced.

This was the first time my parents had been out in some time due to being nervous about covid, but they felt at ease once they got in. The food was amazing and we all had something different from Sunday lunch, steak, fish to curry. And all of us rated our meals a 10. The atmosphere in the pub was perfect and the staff are a credit to the company. Thank you for making our family day together so enjoyable xx will definitely be coming back x x

A wonderful experience. The pub had really interesting decor including clocks & mirrors. Was extremely clean & had very welcoming feeling. Me & my friend fancied some food. We were served by Kim who was a wonderful staff member, she was very knowledge about the history of the pub, she was extremely helpful, polite & friendly. During our meal, she was the perfect host. We both ordered the vegetable Vietnamese curry & halloumi fries. What an amazing meal this was, a true culinary treat. The curry had an amazing taste, a wide variety of spices & flavour combined with an amazing aromatic rice. Truly wonderful & the halloumi fries came with a fruit chill dip with was sensational, the fries were covered with a light beer batter, it was a taste sensation, easily the best batter I've ever tasted. I think the chef was called Reeves, send him compliments from both of us, the food was very special, stunning food. This combined with the wonderful venue & Kims wonderful treatment, madea very special experience. Big congratulations to you all. Will recommend you to others & definitely be back. My mother is 85 and is a very fussy eater. She said it was one one the best meals out she can remember, high praise indeed. spot on all round and extremely good value.

Amazing staff always checking on you and helpful , food wise presentation 7/10 well done taste 8/10 and price was definitely 9/10 a friendly atmosphere with hint of British culture strongly Wazzie recommend.
