Barrett's Restaurant in Shropshire

Customer service was second to non.We were met at the door by the owner who could'nt have made our stay any better. She took us to our room and showed us were everything was including a nice touch of sherry in a decantor. The little things made this stay even more special from the sweets to the well stocked tea,coffee,kit kats,cheddars ect.The bed was unbelievably comfortable.We were made tea and were given a slice of homemade bara brith which was delicious.The breakfast was amazing from fruit ,fruit compot yoghurt tea coffee and then a cooked breakfast.Im a bit torn writing this good review as i know people will want to visit so in turn makes it more difficult for me to book again,which i certainly will. The larger corporate hotels and smaller b@bs need to take note and speak to the owners of this b@b . This is how to look after guests. I will book again in a couple of weeks and have a meal here which looks fantastic.

Oh such a beautiful place to stay. Run by people of care style and a love of presenting great food and great rooms. There is such a lovely feeling walking into this property, a roaring fire and luxury settees. A fab library and and superb Amdiga breakfast room. You need no more. Thanks for our second visit as great as first.

Superb restaurant attention to detail is fantastic. Went for a family 70th celebration, the host was definitely up there catering for everyone's needs. The selection of canapes served were sublime along with the champagne. We had previously ordered our meals due to numbers wanting to eat at the same time. The dining room was beautifully decorated and the round tables and chairs were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend place for a special occasion.

What a hidden gem. Great base, for exploring North Wales. Just a ten minute stroll to the town centre. This listed building is tastefully and sympathetically decorated, in keeping with its age. Lovely and clean throughout. The breakfast was delicious and the produce was of a good standard. The proprietors couldn’t do enough for us. I could highly recommend them.

Staying at the Marine Holiday Park. Searched for a restaurant to have a good meal. Found the Barratts of tyn in Rhyl. Had an exceptional meal coupled with a fist class service and at a very reasonable price. If I ever visit Rhyl again I will make a point of booking a table at this restaurant.

A beautiful gem of a place. The rooms are amazing with lovely furnishings and clean. The bed was so comfortable. A great breakfast was given and beautifully laid out. We were very welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. Such a friendly couple who made our stay a great one. Would highly recommend. Thank you both and we wish you all the very best. We've been here twice for the evening three course menu (well four course with the canapés!). It is absolutely stunning from the decor to the welcoming smile. The food is absolutely delicious! It is a little gem in Rhyl. Thank you. We will be back!

A hidden gem, amazing place hosts Elvira and David are so welcoming my husband myself and Mishka the husky felt like part of the family. Stunning property rooms impeccable foodto die for just perfect so sad to leave

Olde world surroundings. Food is really excellent and a notch up on anywhere else within a 15 mile radius. Wish I had known about place before. Would definitely go again particularly if special occasion.
