Really nice restaurant and the service can't be faulted. The Shropshire blue cheese mushrooms were a delicious starter. The guinea fowl was very nice.

Had one of the best meals I’vehad in my 40+ years as a vegetarian. Not only did Chef put as much effort into his utterly delicious non-meat choices as he did with his equally delicious (judging by the reactions from my fellow diners) full menu, he was utterly charming and generous with his ideas and sources. On a rainy Wednesday in February the restaurant was almost at capacity so make sure you book. Well worth it.

Booked in advance for a meal at Bistro 7.We wasn’t disappointed. Restaurant fully booked. We had a starter & main. Too full to eat a dessert.I order the pate for starter and must admit I coulda have eaten this again - it was so tasty. My husband order the pigeon for starter and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our mains were the beef stroganoff and the steak.A good sized portion and tasty food.A nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Our only negative point would be too many tables in restaurant, as your quite close to other diners, plus no hand sanitiser in bathroom. We recommend dining at this restaurant

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Extensive wine list to compliment the wide ranging menu. We couldn't manage a pudding but the two courses we did have were magnificent. A notch above in terms of quality compared to gastro pubs charging similar prices. So friendly and welcoming too. Book now!

There were 2 areas where this place absolutely excelled. The first is the food:We were a party of 8 and most of us had 3 courses. Every dish, every item, every course was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, the way they were prepared, the sides, the garnishes, the presentation... all absolutely top. I chose the scallops, the duck and the panna cotta, but I could have swapped any dish with anybody else at the table and would have been equally happy with their choices - they all looked and tasted superb. The second area worth mentioning was the service:At at time when good service is increasingly hard to find in the service sector, the staff here were faultless. They were engaged, attentive, professional and an all round great group. However, where they shone was the handling of one of our party's dietary requirements. One member of the group was Coeliac, the staff knew exactly how to cater to this, the chef came to the table to chat with the group, made them feel very comfortable and reassured. He was a gent and a true professional.

When will this little restaurant join the others with Michelin stars in Ludlow? My venison en croute was divine, accompanied by excellent wine and attentive service. Would just have liked a little more coffee in my tiramisu - maybe the 'little twist' James gave it 🤔 but will definitely visit again

A great venue to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The food and staff were exceptional. We would like to thank all concerned for making it such a special evening for us both.

We were staying in Ludlow during the week of my birthday but they were fully booked. Beverley took our details to see what she could do and then managed to make room for us on the night before my birthday. She really went out of her way, it was much appreciated.Food and wine was excellent and we couldn't fault it or the service received. It's a lovely place and I would highly recommend it.

Really cosy little restaurant with wonderful staff and amazing food which is well cooked and beautifully presented. Definitely worth a visit, I would be amazed if you didn't want to go back as soon as possible.

A little bit of fancy! What a fabulous menu... Starters, mains and desserts are superbly varied and most definitely not the regular menu of so many restaurants... Great choices include Cajun bubble and squeak with poached egg, Wood Pigeon and Venison , all beautifully seasoned, cooked and presented. Such an enjoyable meal in a lovely atmosphere. The owners certainly know their trade!
