Booka in Shropshire

This is a great place to have coffee & cake, whilst browsing the well stocked shelves. It has reviews of some books that have been read by staff and their book clubs. A good Children’s area , along with stationary in their upper floor. Whilst I had a caravan a few miles down the road this was a place we came once a week, although I don’t get to visit as much, I still use their on-line shop to order books. It’s probably one of the best independent bookshops I’ve been in. When in Oswestry please pay them a visit they’re always welcoming and friendly.

Excellent customer service. A very enjoyable experience. All the staff were lovely.

I am so pleased I discovered. this bookshop online. I ordered a signed book two days ago (Sunday) and I received it this morning. The parcel was securely wrapped and arrived within 24 hours. The book itself is in immaculate condition. Thank you for such excellent service.

Absolute stunner of a bookshop which we will 100% revisit on our return to family visits when we pop to Wales to see family! Amazing selection of books and beautiful cakes and coffee! Wow!

A great selection of books, in-store book events, and delicious cakes - all under the same roof. Heavenly! 😍

A great thank you to Booka Bookshop. I thought I had come up with a brilliant gift idea for a friends daughter who has recently qualified as a barrister - 'Spider Woman' A life by Lady Hale. Published on 7th Oct, I had MY SIGNED copy on 8th Oct - ready for the celebration on 9th. Fantastic service. I would certainly purchase from you again.

A really cosy place to sit with coffee and cake. They do a good decaffeinated coffee. You can also browse the selection of books during your visit. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have visited here many times, and will continue to do so.

5* wish I could give more! The shop and cafe are immaculate, very peaceful atmosphere and awesome selection of the latest, and classic books. Attended many 'evening with' events Inc Michael Palin, Johnny Herbert, Damon Hill, and Ruth Jones. Never disappointed. The loyalty card is a great idea and your staff all come across as passionate about their work. Every individual in your shop is a shining example of how customer service is done. Cannot recommend highly enough.

One of the best shops in Oswestry. Cheerful and welcoming. Staff very helpful. Superb selection of books, lovely reading area and coffee and cake, which makes this shop a must go to place.

Booka is a truly wonderful bookshop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a well curated selection of books as well as cards and a small gift selection which is invariably tempting. Although not as tempting as their coffee and cakes.I make a real effort to buy my books here when I can as this shop and cafe is a real contributor to the local community.
