Bottle and Glass in Shropshire

An excellent small country pub in the tiny village of Picklescott amongst outstanding countryside. Good food which you can enjoy outside in decent weather or inside in the homely and characterful bar. Very friendly and helpful service.

Everytime we are in the area, we come to this pub and never regret it.Whenever we have had a meal here it had been delicious and we normally visit a few more times to for a couple of drinks.There are some great walks nearby that end at the bottle and glass

We had Sunday Lunch, and loved every bit. It's tucked away in Picklescott, but still busy, so book a table and enjoy the drive there.

Excellent, quality, home cooked food. We found this little gem approximately 16 months ago & have become ardent regulars. Always a pleasant & consistent welcome & same for the food

Dinner last night, friendly welcome and service throughout the evening. Really lovely choice including vegetarian food. Sat outside this pretty pub, which has been decorated outside during lockdown. We ordered Cod in batter with chips and peas, it was cooked and presented very well, lovely bottle of Merlot at a very reasonable price.Yes, we're back again this week!!.

We ate here twice on a recent weekend away. We choose from the excellent menu on the Saturday night, and just had to go back for Sunday lunch.It is full of character, the staff friendly and efficient, and dog friendly if you are happy to eat in the bar. As the bar is a stunning mix of old wood, stone, and a huge fireplace with open fire, this is no sacrifice at all.
