I gave you 2 stars originally but you decided to try and intimate that I wasn’t being honest so now you can have one star for lying yourself. Steer clear of these Charlatans. They overcharge and attempt to rip people off, especially if they have had a drink or two. Read the other recent feedbacks saying the same

Excellent food but wouldn't advise the place if you're disabled as you have to walk up a few flights of stairs

Nice food but these guys let themselves down and we won’t be visiting again. 2 people. 2 starters. 2 curries. 2 naans. One rice and two bottles of wine = £105. Felt they tried to chance their arms with the couple enjoying a meal and bit of alcohol by overcharging for the wine (£19 a bottle- £15 in the menu) and we certainly wasn’t paying the £10 service charge they included on the bill (guys. I choose if you get a tip)When will these places learn? Won’t be visiting again. Used to be much better. Plenty of choice elsewhere. Business lost.

Having not been here for a while we thought we would visit again. Big mistake. I found the staff to be rude, unwelcoming and certainly not eager to look after their customers. The food was bland, there are better places for a curry in Shrewsbury and way over priced and to top it all they have a compulsory service charge. Our bill for two people came to £73 including a service charge of £7.95 This only came to light when I challenged the bill as it seemed excessive, I was told it tells you on the menu about the charge. Well I think it would be more useful if it told you in big words as you walk up the stairs, I would have walked away if I had known. I eventually managed to get this removed from the bill but I will not be visiting again. Disappointing evening.

Amazing Indian food, some of the best you may eat in Shrewsbury. However.... Paid £18 for one curry without rice. Staff are quite blunt and not very friendly. They also add a service charge to end of bill, which is outdated.

Great Indian restaurant. Friendly staff. Great menu with tasty twists on the usual dishes you'd expect to find on the menu which you need to try! Great service despite being very busy. Highly recommend. Clean and well laid out tables can cater for large parties. Clean toilets at back end of restaurant. Great location with car park right outside! Close to pubs and clubs for afterwards too!

It took a little while for the food to come, but wow! well worth the wait. Beautiful flavours, up there with the best curries iv had, would recommend it to anyone

Shocking service but great food. Seem more interested in serving takeaway rather than seated customers. Waited 1h 30 minutes for the starter and even had to clear our own table of plates. Mains came out to the tranquility of 2 phones ringing off the hook. We then witnessed a public argument between two obviously very stressed waiters. 2 stars only due to the good food and company I brought myself!!!!!

My indian friends recommended this place and they were right! Maybe the best Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury. Food and service are top class. Portions are good size and be wary of vindaloo!
