Abysmal!! Attended a function here and the beer was completely flat, asked for ice in a drink and was told, "we don't have any ", no offer to get any. The staff were very surly and seemed more interested in their phones. Clearly need to hire staff who are competent in tending a bar and have some modicum of customer service.

I went to two separate events, two nights running. Both nights, the beer was flat. After drinking flat beer the Friday night, I decided to drink wine. It was warm so I asked for some ice. No ice at all... on a Saturday night!!! The beer (lager and cider anyways) was still flat. The price they charge, you expect to have some bubbles in your beverage!

Afternoon tea to celebrate birthdays. One gluten free and one vegetarian with nut allergy, as well as 3 regular customers, everything was excellent! We all had a very enjoyable afternoon, thank you.

We went here for breakfast having found the place we were originally going to have it too crowded. It was deserted so when we walked in we were surprised to be asked "Have you booked?". Anyway the breakfasts we had were reasonable and delicious, but a little more "atmosphere " would have been welcomed. When we left no one else had arrived...

We recently held a private family function at Carriages for our daughter. The venue was spot on for what we wanted (nothing too flash, but not drab either). Food (finger buffet and cakes) was delicious, and plenty of it. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. My only criticism was there was no menu available when making the booking so we were unable to establish a clear idea of what the finger buffet entailed, but we kind of got the gist of it from the staff. We are glad we held the function at this venue.

Ordered online for delivery during the covid-19 pandemic. Fast delivery. Was surprised by the afternoon tea, was cheap for the amount you get. It was nice. Wasn’t the best afternoon tea but for the price was worth it. I’ve never been to the restaurant in person so I imagine it’s better in there.

It may have been due to the pingdemic but the service was incredibly slow. Waited nearly an hour for two simple lunches. They were very apologetic and we had a bit of a refund. The quiche and salad was very underwhelming. The all day breakfast was adequate.

This is a lovely place to grab some delicious food, the interior design is beautiful and very elegant.Staff where so friendly, only down side was how long we waited for food. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and we waited over 45 minutes for our main courses.Staff where very apologetic and lovely.Highly recommend.
