Combermere Arms in Shropshire

Great find on the road to Whitchurch. Popped in for Saturday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The food was out of this world….

Gorgeous & quirky pub, plenty of parking, interesting drinks menu, serving gorgeous food - our only minor issue was speed of service BUT dishes are well worth waiting a little bit for! Shall definitely be returning soon!

What a fantastic place to come eat, staff super friendly and helpful, food excellent, good portion size. For me couldn't fault it. Go try it out.

Went for a meal with a couple of family members earlier in the week, and cannot have a bad word for the service, food and good selection of different drinks. If you want to go I would recommend booking a table

Extremely polite and efficient staff. We all enjoyed our meals. The lemon tart with raspberry sorbet and coulis was delicious. We have been before and will definitely be visiting again some time soon.

Just had a meal here with my good lady and have to say it was really good. It’s nice to go to a place with bit of a choice on vegan/vegetarian food that isn’t just a risotto or a curry, and that is very tasty to boot. Will absolutely be going again

Delicious food, great atmosphere lovely sitting by the fire enjoying good food. Staff were lovely too. And they welcomed our little puppy too. Hope to go back very soon. Well worth a visit if you are in the area

Went for Sunday lunch. We all enjoyed our food. Managed to feel relaxed even though it was busy. Service didn't suffer too much and was friendly. Those who had crackling really enjoyed it.

Had a Sunday lunch which was delicious, gravy so flavoursome. Pudding amazing. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, nothing to much trouble. Plenty of parking. Looking forward to going again.

Food was delicious, lovely atmosphere and the barman was excellent, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the waitress wasn't very attentive we had to wait for ages to catch her attention and agin wait for ages for the bill. Buy otherwise very nice.
