Fresh food, very tasty

Not happy today they gave someone else my order and had to wait 10-15 minutes extra. Then to go home have a very small large fish and chips and a wrong pie. Not pleased at all.

Food was freshly cooked and the restaurant was both clean and functional.

I go here every now and then and the chips are always reheated/burnt and greasy. Sometimes they will put your meal in a tray which gives you half the chips you get when they wrap it in paper. Chips are always stuck together and so greasy they rip when trying to separate one from another. Everything is overpriced, the only good thing here is that you get your food quite quickly.

We called in on Saturday afternoon for a dine in meal during a very busy day as it was the Christmas light switch on. We were told that they were quite busy but could serve us in boxes instead of plates but would only charge takeaway prices. We had to wait a while because they were so busy but it was worth the wait as extra staff turned up and the meals came on plates. All 4 of us agreed it was one of the best fish and chips we have had for a long time, and the service was first class. We will be back, that is for sure.

Ive just ordered mealdeal 4(two pizzas,onion rings large chips and a 1.5l of pepsi) and a sausage and chips for my 3 Yr old,it came to £23.When I rang I asked for thin bases on my pizzas,(which ive had the last 3-4times I've ordered from them)i was sharply told 'we only do one base'.Although i'd expect better customer service from the nonse wing cafeteria in Winson green,I wouldn't just say the pizza was burnt and cold just to be bitter,nor would I say the chips had more black bits than a mandingo party...but they did.The food b4 2nite was acceptable but I shall not be using them again,pls enjoy the photos lol.

One of our local chippys, take out or eat in, 2x large cod + 1x large portion of chips will feed 4 people!

I've always had a good experience while ordering at Cookie's and the food is consistent. The staff is very nice and easy to work with!

Fish and chips shop with an extensive menu. Standard food can be purchased here without any extras. Meal deals and special offers for takeout are given. Not the best fish and chips, that's available, however far from the worst and fast service with the food being hot. The place is tidy and pleasant to sit in.
