Lovely service. We shared a pizza and chips which were both really tasty, the pizza especially so. Had a couple of pints, cask, lines very well kept so a great pint. Highly recommended.

We stopped because the flowers out side were just lovely ,we were able to eat out side on the patio. Food was great value for money very pleasant staff .

Great to be able to have a drove into the countryside and find a pub with a warm welcome, friendly staff, great food and a great homely feel.

What a lovely clean public house serving beautiful homemade cooked meals and desserts. We went on our way to Bridgemere garden centre and popped in for lunch. The food served was of high quality and well presented. Both the main meals and desserts were of the same top quality. I would highly recommend here for a meal and all at very reasonable prices with lovely friendly and polite staff. We will certainly be visiting again when in the area.

Went in for a drink and a meal, place was virtually empty and the few locals that were in there stared at us the entire time, we were then told that they were "full" and had to leave. Not the first time either, two mates have also tried to visit for a drink in the past and were totally ignored by the staff and as a result had to leave. Obviously have to be part of the thin local bloodline to receive any kind of welcome here.

Brilliant place to take the family for a meal. The staff are really friendly, the food is really high quality ingredients cooked perfectly and the beer is always lovely.

Likely to become our new local. Went out for a meal with parents and family and thought we would give it a go. The portion sizes were great, staff were really polite and helpful the pub is clean and well maintained. After being there for a couple of hours we managed to get enough of an appetite back to eat dessert which was just as good as the main course. The chef we had today should be proud of the food the is putting out, there were a few picky people at the table and not a single person had anything other than compliments for the food!Great meal look forwards to going again.

Piss poor service,cocked up food order 2 out of 3 meals arrived,1 sat waiting while others have eaten their meals.My main meal not arrived after 10 minutes waiting,ended up cancelling my meal.However they convinced me to take my meal, the Service is not good enough.It's not as though the place was busy,and then to top matters off,when the last main arrived,half way through eating to my disgust found a big bluebottle fly in between the meat.The bar manager has an attitude a mile wide,does not want to deal with any problems other than getting aggressive towards the two ladies of the party.This is one pub that I can honestly say I have never been treated so badly by the management,I feel sorry for the poor girls who are having to work for such an aggressive and incompetant manager.In my opinion this pub would do so much better under ownership of someone who understands customer service and and as it stands at the moment I for one CANNOT RECOMMEND this establishment I am reluctant to leave a 1 star review but I can't leave any lower.Please avoid this place.
