Best chop shop in Shifnal. The premises are clean and well run. The staff are friendly and polite. There's a good choice menu. It's often busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, but worth the all wait.

Absolutely brilliant fish and chip shop. Huge delicious portions and solid flaky cod.

Fish and chips for me is once a year... But I find this one my regular. It has good service and its very clean. I do sometimes find batter in my chips, I find that really annoying!! Here they also have no consistency with sizes of the extras like gravy, mushy peas etc. Even when I stipulate 'large' or 'small' it seems pot luck what you walk away with.Overall a great local chippy. Cottams please stop putting battered foods in the chip fryer or the chip serving draw!

Have eaten from here many times and is almost always perfect, their cod and chips are absolutely delicious 😋 quality of the food is one the best I've had from a chippy, and that includes Whitby 👍

I came here maybe 10 times in past 10 years because i live 100miles away but visit this areanonce a year and it is always top notch fish and chips and we look fwd to it.Never had a bad oneSame again next week

I was just passing through Shifnal and found myself to be peckish for chips. After seeing Cottams Fish & Chip shop I knew I had to try their food.I decided to get a large Fish and Chips and the chips were amazing but the Fish was honestly the best fish I have every tried ANYWHERE in my entire life.I had to also sample some of their Chicken and Kebab, both of which were also 10/10.I would definitely recommend this chippy to everyone! I will be coming back for more. If only I lived closer to it.
