Court Yard Cafe in Shropshire

Afternoon tea at The Courtyard Tea Rooms well recommended. Order in advance was easy. Wonderful welcome & service outstanding. Staff are the best. Roll on the next visit

Just went for a light lunch, I had garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast and my wife a cheese omlett with a expresso and a pot of tea for one.Although they were fairly busy the drinks were on the table in a couple of minutes, and the food was only about five minutes later.Really well cooked and nicely presented, my wifes omlett was perfect just soft with the cheese starting to melt, and a bone china cup for her tea.The mushrooms on toast again just about perfect, garlic flavour but not knock your head off level, and the expresso properly hot that is really quite unusual most places you are lucky if it's Luke warm.Going back next time I am in Oswestry, I rather fancy the Welsh rarebit with roasted tomatoes.Or possibly a omlett.

Lovely place wont go anywhere else the staff are great and very friendly and the coffee and food is outstanding highly recommended this place if u haven't tried it u need to especially if u like fresh handmade cakes mmmmm 😋

Can't speak highly enough of the courtyard tea rooms. Staff are truly delightful, kind and welcoming. They offer gluten free options and the food is always amazing. I can honestly say everything I've had has been delicious and keeps me coming back for more. Well worth more than one visit.

Such a lovely, quaint little tea shop where everything is freshly made. We booked an afternoon tea here for an end of term treat. It was perfect, the cakes were luscious and the coffee truely is one of the best I have tried in town! And the service fantastic.

We absolutely love this tearoom. Very dog friendly. Lovely food and drink. Great atmosphere. A favourite of ours. Can’t beat the courtyard rarebit and the fresh homemade scones.
