Fantastic food and service a welcome stop after a 5 mile walk

Stopped here on the way through. Didn't expect a great deal on entering, but the food was great!

Had such a lovely home cooked roast dinner here today I can honestly say I haven't been out and had a roast as nice as the one I had here in a long time and very reasonably priced too, we could bring the dog aswell will definitely return if I'm passing through again.

Welcoming and friendly as always. Good food and not too busy at lunchtime.

Very unwelcoming came here at 12pm opening time on a Sunday to be shut down in a rude manner by the lady behind the bar it’s a shame really should have on the door “locals only”

Met my son to exchange Xmas presents. Never been before, but staff were very friendly , really nice place . Must go back sometime in the new year.

Sunday lunch for 6 today. 3 of our party complained Pork and Beef very fatty.

Excellent service, food was 1st class and very friendly people.

We are lucky to have this pub as our local. The food is excellent, The landlady friendly and welcoming. The pub is dog friendly and has a big garden for sitting out on warm days and evenings.
