Dobbies Garden Centre Restaurant in Shropshire

Well organised, good choice of plants and wide variety of gardening equipment and gift items. Good cafe. Our main reason to visit was to look at clothing, particularly Edinburgh Woollen Mills products which we thought were still available there. Sadly this range has now been discontinued. Plants and other products a little on the high side! Still a pleasant shopping experience with plenty of parking.

Has lunch in the cafe here today. Food was acceptable but I shan't eat here again as dogs are allowed in all areas of the cafe including the food selection/service area. I think this is an unhygienic practice.

Helpful staff, a guy stocking the shelves pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for, a lady went into the warehouse to look for wellies and a lovely lady on the till advised me on their loyalty card which saved me some money 😌 thank you Megan! Well done Dobbies on your courteous professional staff. And the shop is nice too!

As a delivery is very poor. Left waiting foe absolutely aged, they don't answer the phone. I wouldn't go there unless I had too. Greg's next door is very good.

Breakfast with Santa was absolutely amazing.The moment we turned up every member of staff we're so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was nice. The children's presents were really really good and Santa himself was absolutely incredible. Honestly he is the best Santa we have ever seen. He was so lovely and kind to each child. The highlight for us was he made such an effort with our child who has complex special needs. She absolutely adored him and he made the whole experience for us an unforgettable one.We cant recommend Dobbies and the Breakfast with Santa experience enough, especially to those looking for a suitable place to take their children with special needs. We will definitely be back.

Well it must be said the toilets were lovely and clean. However pulling on the toilet roll to find you get one sheet at a time, which was a bit of a struggle getting enough to screw up into a ball like my mum showed me when I was a kid. Oh the shop's nice too.

Super lovely staff! And a great cafe with lost of seating. I see that some of the other businesses located here seem to be changing, so no Edinburgh woollen mill any more .... The Christmas stuff is creeping in and they are spot on for garden stuff, you can get everything here, but maybe a bit more pricey and not as well stocked as other centres in the town.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea here. Family friendly and very reasonably priced, with kids versions available too. The staff were very helpful and the balance of savoury/ sweet food was spot on. The softplay is now open again so we were able to tie in a play for the kids.

Love this place this is our first stop off on our way on holiday 2 Wales, it's well layed out really spacious staff are friendly, not been in the café yet but it look's lovely & clean & alway's busy, there are public toilets aswel which is good & clean, u have pop threw the cafe area to get to them, whn we do visit Dobbies i alway's have to buy a bag without fail lol 😆, my latest purchase was a pink flowered Earth Squared bag love it, so yeah we would highly recommend this place so big thumbs-up from us..

Large selection of beautiful plants and other garden items. A lot of the plants were a good price, similar to places such as B and Q.They also have a medium sized selection of kitchen and home items. If you are taking a break at the service station it is the same car park so I would suggest it is worth a quick visit.
