Best meals we have had for a long time and at very reasonable prices. Atmosphere is wonderful and staff are helpful and happy! The latter is very important for successful pub.

Excellent place to eat and drink. Friendly, helpful staff. We were allowed to park our motorhome overnight in the overflow car park. This olde worlde pub was lovely and warm and tastefully renovated. Very interesting menu, reasonably priced and the option of smaller portions.Tasty too! Will return when we are in the area again.

Staff good humored and helpful. Food excellent and promptly served. Nice decor and cozy feel. Plenty of parking would definitely go again.

Always friendly and have thoroughly enjoyed the food on my two visits.

When we booked we weren't told that a pub quiz was taking place. It was that loud you couldn't here yourself think, they had given our table away even though we were early. The service was very good but the food was very poor in my opinion. We won't be back...

Really friendly country pub. Decent food, good service with very helpful and friendly staff. Children and dog friendly. Staff thanked us for 'popping in' which was a lovely gesture. Sure it will become our local.

Popped in here last week while visiting a local friend. We both had the sharer nachos each and it was lovely.... superb nachos with guacamole and sour cream toppings with plenty of cheese. Friendly staff and a nice place overall. Well worth a visit.

It was very pleasant to have stop-by lunch - Nice outside seating, delicious food, very polite and attentive waiter and free parking space. The fish and chip was surprisingly delicious, that the batter was thin and crispy with crunchy chips and mushy peas. The chicken sandwiches was amazing too. The blueberry tart with custard was very special and tasty.

We had a meal here and the food for me was very expensive, I had sausage and chips but the gravy was very strong so it kind of ruined my meal, they are adhering to the social distance rules and it is a really nice pub, the onion rings are huge but they were very greasy. Overall not a bad pub to eat.
