Lovely Sunday lunch for 3 people, thank you.The food was always excellent in the market hall and I'm pleased to say that nothing has changed.The setting of drapers is lovely and the service is getting there for what the evening restaurant is looking towards. So the lunch menu may be one of two more expensive than in its previous form but now you have tables where shoppers aren't barging past to get to the butchers, i don't mind paying this.We look forward to seeing you again guys.

Exceptional Sunday roast. It’s wonderful to be dining again in this wonderful room. Food and presentation were spot on. The staff were really friendly and keen to please. Can’t wait to try a Saturday night.

Asked if the Ribeye steak we ordered came with a sauce or if not could we order a sauce. The waitress needed to go enquire for an answer. The advice was that 2 sauces are available 1 ‘salad cream’ or 2 Ketchup. Enough said. The steak and chips were nicely cooked but we probably wont go back there. Sad for us because it was a fav place to eat over the years.

Myself and my husband had a really lovely evening here last weekend. It's so refreshing to find creative veggie choices on the menu, rather than the usual risotto I often have to settle for. All the food we ate tasted great and the service was spot on. The staff also seemed very happy to be working there which helped to create a great atmosphere. Gorgeous surroundings too, the building is amazing and you can tell it's really looked after. This will definitely be one of our 'go to' restaurants in the future.
