We attended for an evening meal with friends. The greeting was extremely friendly and drinks soon arrived. The food was ample and very tasty. Two of us had lasagne with chips and salad, I couldn't eat it all. One very large fish and chips and a steak pie, chips n veg. Which were both excellent according to the guys. Three of those that had room left for the banana split were highly delighted . Thd price was fantastic value for the money. We will definitely be calling again on our next jaunt day sarf....

Popped in for a pint and ended up having a Sunday dinner. It was fantastic and I will definitely go back.

Our first trip whilst walking in the area. What a gem!! Beautiful from outside with stunning hanging baskets. We ate in the front bar with the locals as got our dogs with us… everyone just so friendly 😊 Barman & waiter in their Hawaiian shirts were fab. We all had the Sunday Roasts, beef & pork & was a perfect Sunday lunch. Delicious, well cooked & lots of it!! Even had a retro banana split on pudding menu which we had to try along with the honeycomb cheesecake . Very reasonably priced too. Thank you for a lovely time & will defo be back.
