Stopped in as a halfway point as was beautiful.Gorgeous premises with lovely outdoor space, just set back from the road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. We went for a couple of items to share and it was all delicious.

All the food was excellent and the steak was cooked just right. Would visit again.

This was lovely. We showed up without a booking and were welcomed and given a nice table. Great menu, lovely food, friendly staff, good beer, and everything well-priced. Ticked all our boxes, we'll be back for sure.

Not cheap but not all meals good value. Suggested my daughter try something new. So opted for Chicken in White wine. Sauce. Which ended up being a chicken leg on top of small amount of Sauce! Not what I was expecting and she was plainly disappointed. Service was good. Maybe we don't get out enough! But when we do 95%of the time we are disappointed with some aspect. Problem is we are not fussy just want good quality at a fair price.

We stumbled upon this place on our way home after climbing Snowdon.. and were greeted with a warm welcome. We apologized about our attire and were told don't worry please sit down and let's get you sorted. The meals were brilliant steak for the wife, pizza for our son who got to make it at the table(a fantastic touch) our daughter went for the Carbonara and I went for the paella mix. Drinks and dessert are also very good. Fantastic service and value for money. Until next year. 5 stars.

6 of us visited for an early evening meal out. The staff were friendly and helpful. 5 people opted for the set price 2 course meal. It was excellent and great value for money. I had the chilli and prawn spaghetti with possibly one of the best creme brulee desserts I have had in a while. We had an assortment of drinks and finished with coffees. It was my 1st visit here as I live in Somerset but I really hope to return when I visit Shrewsbury again.

Beautiful food. Service was fantastic. Very attentive. Lovely menu choice. Disabled access, carpark at the front of the building. Family friendly. Large dining area. Will definitely be visiting again.

Arrived on time for our booking and our table wasnt ready so had to wait in the bar. Whilst waiting overheard another customer complaining about the wait time and that they were leaving. Starters took a minimum of 30 minutes. The kitchen was open to the restaurant and we saw some dishes waiting on the side for 20 minutes which turned out to me our meals. We waited an hour for the mains. The chips were stone cold, the steak had dried out, the chicken was half cold and half warm, the mushrooms were so dried out and cold that they were crispy and the garnish of rocket had wilted. After this we heard multiple other customers complaining about similar issues and especially the wait time. The cheeky part about all of this is that we had to leave our table within 2 hours. We were never given a reason why the service was like this. However the waitresses were lovely.

My main meal was poor, not seasoned at all and the pork I had was bland with burnt crust. Maybe I was unlucky as my sons enjoyed there’s (although was pizza and a fish cake with chips) but overall I would not recommend. I feel the food is poorly cooked viewing other food that was coming out the kitchen. Shame as the service was good and a nice setting. Just poor food.

Walk in and made welcome. Seated quickly. Great menu. Table service was excellent. Food was amazing. We had moroccan chicken and lamb! Highly recommend. Sicilan lemon tart for dessert which we shared! Will be back.
