Beautiful food. Service was fantastic. Very attentive. Lovely menu choice. Disabled access, carpark at the front of the building. Family friendly. Large dining area. Will definitely be visiting again.

Arrived on time for our booking and our table wasnt ready so had to wait in the bar. Whilst waiting overheard another customer complaining about the wait time and that they were leaving. Starters took a minimum of 30 minutes. The kitchen was open to the restaurant and we saw some dishes waiting on the side for 20 minutes which turned out to me our meals. We waited an hour for the mains. The chips were stone cold, the steak had dried out, the chicken was half cold and half warm, the mushrooms were so dried out and cold that they were crispy and the garnish of rocket had wilted. After this we heard multiple other customers complaining about similar issues and especially the wait time. The cheeky part about all of this is that we had to leave our table within 2 hours. We were never given a reason why the service was like this. However the waitresses were lovely.

meh. sirloin steak was meh and bland, peppercorn sauce was bland, the seafood paella was mush however the pork tenderloins were good. On the menu it states that the steak comes with tomatoes on the vine, I received a terrible half a salad tomato that was barely cooked. The cocktails were lovely, the Eton mess and brownie sundaes were lovely. too, it was just the mains that were such a let down. Maybe it was the mains we chose as there many good recommendations hence we decided to visit but overall not the best not the worst, for the money you spend I reckon you find a nicer restaurant.

My main meal was poor, not seasoned at all and the pork I had was bland with burnt crust. Maybe I was unlucky as my sons enjoyed there’s (although was pizza and a fish cake with chips) but overall I would not recommend. I feel the food is poorly cooked viewing other food that was coming out the kitchen. Shame as the service was good and a nice setting. Just poor food.

We ate lunch here on Valentines day. I had the fish and chips along with 3 others in our group. Was a really nice meal but unfortunately it made all four of us ill. It was'nt a cheap meal so doubt we will return.

I have been here before and it's been ok but this visit.... The starter wasn't what was ordered. The waitress rolled her eyes and walked off initially, then returned with items that were supposed to be on the order but just said 'there you go, you've got more now'....Kind of wasn't the point. They were busy, but that's no excuse. We also waited an hour and a quarter for this starter. By the time the mains and dessert came we were too concerned that we wouldn't have time to have them so spoilt it all a bit. We also struggled to get a second drink (as we had long finished our first)... And again, waited for these. We will give the benefit of the doubt this time and will visit again and hopefully have a better experience.

Used to love coming to this place but it seems different to the last time I visited.Tonight everything was very rushed and then the pizza oven stopped working properly. After already being told some options on the menu weren’t available.Don’t get me wrong, the venue is great, but do check if everything is available before you go. We drove quite a distance to be offered a free drink for not being able to order what we were looking forward to eating.

I have been to the Grapes a few times for Lunch, and always enjoyed the food and friendly service, I visited again today with friends, 2 had the Duck and were very disappointed, they both requested it to be pink when it came it was well done and very tough!!!! 1 had pork fillet which was good, I salmon which was ok but green beans were hard!! given 3 stars for the service which was very good.
