Good food and atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced.

We had a good night at there game evening. The room looked great and there was a pianist playing. All the food and wine went well together and was excellent quality. The only minor issues were the staff spilt some wine and they missed out some of our groups drinks. They put the issues right once they were aware.

Food tasting menu was very good, in particular, some of the experimental extra dishes delivered that were not on the menu were exceptional. The dining room felt a little underwhelming compared to the exterior, and was so quiet it didn't feel private. The drawing room where we were initially taken also felt a little souless...maybe having the fire lit (it was winter after all) could have helped. If it is just the excellent food you are after, you can add another *.

A fabulous meal, for special occasions. The tasting menu was the best meal we have had in years. Excellent service, friendly staff, lovely venue.

Really well looked after by the friendly staff. Delicious food (set menu) and wine. Beautiful fire place, a lot of space. The atmosphere was a bit quiet despite being full.
