Friendly service but chips not cooked enough & some even hard inside. Fish good but greasy.

Had the gluten free fish and chips and it was delicious! Staff were friendly accommodating. Will definitely visit again.

Called in here for some lunch when visiting Whitchurch. The shop was spotlessly clean and the food was amazing. We even got given directions to the local park to eat our lunch together with a free sausage for our two doggies. Would highly recommend a visit.

We popped into Gardiners chip shop on our way home to Worcester after a day trip to Chester. The owner was very welcoming and quick to put on some fresh chips for us even though they were closing soon. He was very friendly and knew that we were visitors to the area, he obviously knows his regulars. I can see why people return. The food was very fresh and tasty and good value for money. The owner is clearly passionate about his shop and local community.

Local fish and chip shop that serve top notch food! Called in on a Friday night and even though the queue was long, staff were chatty and friendly, even when they had to wait for chips and fish to be cooked. We had a mix of chips, fish, battered sausage, fishcake and mushy peas. Sooo good! Everything was fresh and very hot.

We struggle to find soya free fish and chips anywhere. When visiting Whitchurch we called Gardiners and they were so helpful, they can do gluten free batter which is soya free and made it fresh on the spot when we visited. It tasted delicious and we will definitely be back when we are visiting again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Thank you so much! :)

Beautiful fish and chips cooked to order on Saturday lunchtime. Huge portions of lily white, delicate, delicious fish so great value for money.I have coeliac disease and I needed gluten free. We phoned ahead an hour before all great. Strictly speaking to be gluten free the fish has to be fried in a fryer separate from the battered fish. When I arrived he showed me the gluten free batter and explained that he used the same fryer. He said other customers were always happy. I was away from home and I agreed to that. No side effects felt. It tasted every bit as beautiful as it looked. It is not gluten free and should not be advertised as gluten free.

Best chippy in the region hands down. Great food, friendly staff. Food all cooked fresh and tastes amazing for it, cannot recommend enough. The regular queues (that they get through fairly quickly, don't be put off) are testament to how good these guys are. Absolutely worth the wait :)
