Fantastic coffee, delicious pancakes, and really friendly staff. They were excellent about allergies too! Very popular (with good reason) so you might need to pop back if no tables are free. Would definitely recommend!

Fascinating. Told to sit at last table for 2 by young, dark haired woman who was behind glazed food bar. We did ask if there was one free outside, she checked, but no. We turned and sat. Whilst reading the menu we were accosted by another waitress, an older woman and told we needed to leave the table and leave because 2 people outside were before us and they needed to have the table. Not us.The couple weren't there when we walked to and through the door. Great (not) treatment of customers. Did you decide we were the wrong demographic for you?Everywhere else we have been today as visitors has been fabulous.

Gorgeous food.Very wholesome and fresh.We sat outside on the tables in the square, which was very ambient. Lovely staff.

Batista is cool and the double espresso is banging, sweet with good notesNice atmosphereUpdate: hungry mrs was happy with the bacon sarnie with ketchup 👌 she said the bread was amazing!Brunch box with halloumi and other gubbins was tasty and good value, have yet to smash the croissant but im sure it won't be a problem.May return just for the coffee

I usually love an independent anything, and in general I’m fairly easily pleased; however my expectations of this cafe were mot quite fulfilled, and after reading such fabulous reviews I left rather deflated. I wasn’t met by a happy, warm demeanour behind the till. I ordered a Cappuccino which wasn’t hot, and a slice of toasted Sourdough. I was quite expecting a hunk of lovely deliciousness to arrive;, instead a solitary thin sliced from the supermarket I think turned up. I was grieved at having to pay £3 for it. I won’t be rushing back

One of the older tranche of lovely independant coffee shops in Shrewsbury. Always good food (they could make more of their cakes vegan) and their bags of coffee beans are some of the best I've bought.

Amazing food, great service. They offer various vegan options and are dog friendly! Will be returning. The only ammendment would be the seating arrangement as it is a bit tight but nevertheless, it's a nice little café
