Gingerbread Man in Shropshire

Had a meal in December - tried to order Yorkshire pudding wraps...not available, ordered & paid for Eton Mess..came back 5 mins later to say they didn't have any meringue?? Sue to covid understand some things not available. Roll on 3.5 months later...trued to order Yorkshire pudding wraps....not available?? Ordered Eton mess...5 mins later no meringue?? Obv need to be taken off the menu.....

Lovely carvery and staff were lovely and really helpful! My little girl loved her dinner and had a fab time at the wacky warehouse! Looking forward to booking with the family again!

Just finished a wonderful meal at the Gingerbread Man. The carvery was absolutely gorgeous. The place was so full when we arrived but Dawn went above and beyond to find us a table. Not our first time here, never disappointed. We will be back!

Went for a meal there today never been before, food was lovely and staff were friendly, we liked the fact that there was food available off the main menu as well as the carvery, children loved the play barn and liked the park. We have booked to go back in a few weeks for another family meal to celebrate a birthday

Absolutely wonderful meal and absolutely wonderful staff. We've been a few times and the food is always perfect, from the carvary to the kids meals. They even accommodate for my 5 year who is a picky eater and they make him feel so special that he hasn't stopped talking about wanting to go back. Absolutely brilliant meal today!! We had 2 adult carvery's and 2 children's carvery's. Both adults had all 3 meats! The veg was cooked perfectly (mash was amazing!) and constantly stocked up. The service from the Kitchen manager was brilliant, he promised my 3 and 4 year old a free scoop of ice cream if they ate all their food, safe to say they ate every scrap! And as promised, he made the effort to come and find our table and delivered on his promise. Would 100% recommend The Gingerbread Man to anyone and will 100% be returning.

Came for Sunday lunch with the family. Got greeted at the door by Kim and dawn who were lovely. All the food was fresh and delicious. The kids really enjoyed themselves, the staff were brilliant with engaging with the kids. Will be definitely booking for next Sunday, thank you for a lovely time.

Must say first time I've been to this pub / carvery. Certainly won't be going back . They say you will make up your opinion about a place within the first ten minutes, well it did ...waiting at the bar to be served , and no it wasn't busy. We ordered food but my friends Lasagne was burnt around the edges and also look anorexic, the gammon i had was fatty and also slightly burnt chips & peas were OK but the food itself was only warm , hence I did leave alot , I've made worst plates of food myself that were better ..

Very friendly service from the moment you entered. Lovely food,m and friendly staff.A local gentleman had a tumble in the bathroom and was very well looked after by the staff and members of our table who were bought a drink and refunded desserts for their troubles. The gentleman (I presume manager) was excellent with my 4 year old son and gave him some toys to keep him entertained while we finished our meal. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

We have just had the most wonderful 3rd birthday party for our daughter Florence at the Wacky Warehouse. Gary, Sophie & the rest of the staff were absolutely brilliant & made us all feel incredibly welcome & went out of their way to make sure Flo had a fantastic time. The food was delicious too & the facilities were excellent. Thank you so much to all the staff who provided Flo with such a magical experience. We would definitely recommend it to any parent who is thinking of having a party there & we would love to book another one. 🤗
