Halfway Hosue Inn in Shropshire

Good place to stop and break our journey from Derbyshire to New Quay. Very nice clean toilets, very Covid aware, good range of hot food and drinks. You can sit inside or eat outside. Very pleasant staff.

Nice place... Does cash only but has a cash machine that charges. Fish and chips were lovely and the portions are big. Very clean too.

Very clean and tidy with enormous portions. Superb value for money for quality food.

I have found them to be friendly and helpful we get a nice welcome each time we go. The food is always fresh .

A well situated cafe, popular with the passing workers.Not a place to take your granny for an afternoon tea but excellent value for hungry travellers.Staff are attentive and hard working.

3 stars for food. Cutlery not individually wrapped so god nose how many people hands touched them, bot good considering covid is still about !! I had to clean table and chairs myself as not cleaned after other people.

Friendly service and a convenient stop en route back from holidaying in Wales. Few too many beans on the breakfast though!

Would not recommend this food outlet... Found a hair in my chips, told the chap behind the counter and he just said "oh sorry". The condiments were dirty, grease and finger prints all over them (considering there is still an ongoing pandemic) I thought this was pretty bad as they should really be wiped down after every use. Worth the extra 2 miles drive to go to Dinkeys Diner

I'm always stopping at diners..... it's my first time at this one. It has never really popped up on my radar, but I regularly travel this road. However, some new signs appeared recently and I decided to give it a go. Glad I did too 😎 the meal was great, the service efficient and friendly, the prices very reasonable. Loads of options. We had a mixed grill with chips and coffee and all were very well prepped. Happy days, will definitely return 😁

Stop here sometimes for a brekkie. Very tasty the diner staff are very polite and helpful. It's always clean and tidy and well laid out. Recently they seem to have had a move around in the shop. They now sell alcohol and bottles of pop. So if you fancy a great brekkie I have fried bread on mine pop in. And if it's cold out stop for a nice hot cuppa to.
