Good range of meals on menu, ranging from £8.50 ish to £20. Food was very good, and setting is upmarket. Good for a celebration meal.

Only gets 1 start due to the assistant manager.Shocking Mother’s Day Meal avoid at all costs. Terrible service by a manger who is in way to deep. He should be the glass washer. that is doing a disservice to the glass washer thoughWhen someone tries to serve you pork but on the menu its gammon and get a response like if you cook pork long enough it turns to gammon they really shouldn’t be in a job.nearly the whole Resturant was ready for walking out.Food was reheated from the night before and wasn’t edibleTook over an hour for starters off a pre ordered menu even then the starters was staggered over 20 minutes for a table of 4The new management must have he intention of running this pub in to the ground. As I can honestly say this is the worst service / meal I’ve ever had.

Superb food at realistic prices. Good selection of beers. Attentive staff. All in a very stylish setting.

First time here and LOVED IT! Proper filling roast with lots of veg which is just how we like our Sundays roasts. Brilliant value for money too and delicious sticky toffee pudding and ice cream at the end. Louise was really helpful and kind and the manager was very helpful and kind too. Highly recommended and plan to come back next week!

As a family, we have eaten here numerous times over the last 10 years or so and always enjoyed it. I would never hesitate to recommend it to others. The food was always freshly made, the staff were lovely and the restaurant was always busy which created a lovely atmosphere. However, towards the end of 2021 the owners moved on and the restaurant was taken over. As it had always been so good we decided to still go for our annual new years day meal and give the new owners a try. Big mistake. Whilst the staff were friendly, the food was awful, my glass had lipstick on so was replaced with another lipstick stained glass and the restuarant was empty, and I mean EMPTY. It seemed everyone else had heard about the 'new menu' and no one had passed the message on! This lovely building, with its ornate decor has been turned upside down with the new yet dirty laminated menus and cheap frozen food. If you want to pay 5 star restaurant prices for food not worthy of a 'two for a tenner' deal then this is the place for you, if you expect anything more than a hot McDonald's then I suggest you find somewhere else to eat.

Very pleasant meal. Served all of us reasonably close together. Excellent staff. Needs another coffee machine as it took ages to make 11 cups for our group.

I liked the place, people and food was great. 4 stars because a few serverd kept getting confused at what we had ordered, high chair was no good, etc. Nothing major but not quite 5 stars on that visit. Will go again and will re-review accordingly - everybody makes mistakes sometimes.

Our dining experience was very good, the service was excellent. The food was well presented and of an excellent standard. Our waiter Luke was very professional with a warm and friendly persona. We will definitely return very soon and recommend the restaurant to family and friends. From Evelyn, Hazel and Yvonne. Five stars, well done.

Always welcoming with very good food and drink. The new ownership is excellent. Have visited four times now and always enjoyed it.

Amazing. Awesome experience. Remote location (bit of traffic along the A464 but nothing substantial). Great dining. Food was outstanding. Generous quantities, generous flavours, great service. Just look at the photos. The King prawns and scallops were delicious. The pork belly and pancetta wrapped tenderloin were proper classy local food from the Black Country. And the cheeseboard was a work of art. If I were pushed to find fault, the only thing I could say is the only craft beer they have is low alcohol but that is about it to be fair. If you only get four stars from me it's not that there is anything wrong with what you do but it allows me to single out exceptional dining experiences like this and give the fifth star where the fifth star is really due.
