Horse and Jockey in Shropshire

We were in the local area for a hen party and were let down by a private chef to cook in our cottage. We ran this restaurant to see if they could prepare a 3 course meal and deliver it to the cottage. luckily they said yes, they even suggested coping the menu from the chef we had lost. The food was amazing, it came hot all in foil trays so we could serve up. We can not thank them enough saving our weekend!! highly recommended if your in the area., thanks again to the team x

Great dog friendly pub with good choice of ales. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed a tasty lunch and will be back.

Lovely pub/ restaurant....good food and friendly good service. We were Barging along Llangollen canal and made a firm resolve to return on the way back... we were not disappointed!

Great pub, good atmosphere, excellent staff. Good Friday it was busy, but still found room for the 2 of us. Served us very promptly, excellent choice on the menu, tapas which you can have as a starter, and a variety of main courses. It was well presented when served and very hot.Large desserts, certainly full to the brim when we left. Highly recommend.

The slick service was to be admired. Well presented place and staff were quick and efficient. Would visit again.Did go back. Had a wonderful meal and the cheesecake I highly recommend. Slick service, well trained staff. A must if you are in the area. Would recommend booking as it is very popular.

This is a lovely pub with friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food was nice and portion sizes were generous. We've tried a few pubs in Whitchurch and this is the best so far. Thank you 😊

Just a quick stop for a well needed pint. Nearly at the end of a 3 day hike of the sandstone trail. Very nice an welcoming staff. Nice interior of the building. Lovely beer.

Very rustic and vintage aesthetic, but with an updated and varied menuVery friendly and accommodating staff (including the resident dog!)The wait wasn't long, even for a large group at a moderately busy lunchtime!They serve the best ice cream from Cheshire ice cream farm!And there is something for everyone on the drinks menu!
