"At Greene King Pub & Grill we're obsessed about our grills. We've built our menu around quality char-grilled steak, chicken, fish, vegetarian dishes and burgers, plus a choice of pub classics that everyone loves. All our steaks are grass-fed beef, aged to perfection, making them wonderfully tender, lean and full of flavour."

Updated review: A much better visit than a couple of previous visits. The two waitresses were very polite and helpful. The food we had was not only delicious but as part of their lunchtime fixed menu, was incredible VFM. Really enjoyed this visit.

Went for drinks with work colleagues to celebrate someone leaving. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the pub itself was big with plenty of seating. We didn't have food but the menu looked good and the prices were reasonable. Will be back to try the food soon

Poor experience. After walking in the rain for 25 minutes, arrived to be told they were Not doing food for approx the next 1.5 Hrs as they wanted to give the chef a break. Not much more to be said other than they don't have a great future with that attitude.

Good Pub, cozy place and tasty food. Service is good and clean place. American food and nice place to stop when traveling.

Went in for a drink. Prices were steep. I beer I had smelt funny and also tasted of cleaning fluid. I approached the bar and was pretty much called a liar as it had been served all day with no complaints. They did offer me any drink so I choose a different lager. I kid you not, it was exactly the same as the last drink. The land lady also said to me. You owe me 45p as I’m not going to be out of pocket!! Shocking service, did not drink the second drink either and when I gave it back she looked and responded to me like I had just committed the biggest crime. I would say to people to avoid this pub but being a star day night there were 9 people in the pub which did include 3 staff front of house. I was polite and thanked her for her hospitality.

Good food, but slow. Got nachos and halloumi fries for starters and they were lovely! Mains were Hunters chicken, chicken fajitas, burgers, salmon and fish and chips, all very yummy too. Unfortunately the service was very slow, despite the restaurant being practically empty at 4pm. They took half our plates, then seemed to forget the rest.

Definitely "like this NO" .I DON'T recommend it. If for you fresh Char-grilled meat ( chicken and steakes) means boiled before or steamed and reheated and place 1-2 min on the grill, I suggest you change the chef. Coleslaw oily and just a drop of mayo...clearly someone doesn't know how to cook. The chips are the ones bought frozen so not much could go wrong with them. The dipping steak should have had 3 different sauces but I received 2 peppercorn and 1 cheese one. They forgot to bring the new potatoes for the chicken until I reminded them that they were in the menu. The only decent thing to it were the onion rings. The staff don't know the dishes in the menu, the lady who seats near the bar anyway.Pepsi has no taste is just as having sparkling water. We had most of the food as after one day on the mountain we were so hungry that we could have eaten stones but clearly in other circumstances should have went back to the kitchen to the so called "chef".A plus for the male waiter who was very friendly and accommodating. We have paid in full and after told the feedback to the lady waiter as I didn't want her to think that we expect a discount or anything. It's a shame for this place as the quality standards are very poor...
