Loggerheads in Shropshire

First Indian we have had since moving here and what a great first one! Will deffinatly be returning with the family. Amazing food and lovely polite, happy staff.

Visited Lodge India tonight for a meal with friends. We'd booked a table earlier in the week but when we arrived it seemed that we weren't expected. Took a while for someone to take our orders. Poppadoms came out to us then when the waiter came to collect our plates he asked if we were going straight to have our main course. We said we'd ordered a starter. The waiter had taken it about half an hour ago 🤣🤣. Sorry but we've been here before and the food and service then was brilliant. I enjoyed my main meal but my friends didn't enjoy there's but I didn't enjoy my starter of garlic mushrooms 😒. The service was quite poor and it was like been in a episode of fawlty towers. Lodge India should think more about the restaurant rather than the take away side.

Arrived to be greeted with that we had not booked a table ,which we did 4 nights previous, then put on a table for 8 ,when there was only 3 of us,waited a good half an hour to take drinks order ,literally a hour before our starter came at this point every table was calling it faulty towers , eventually when the food arrived it was terrible ,the only thing I could taste was garlic,think this restaurant should concentrate on the restaurant and not on takeaway ,and three of them waited over a hour ,with management supplying them with free beer,very poor and sorry lodge india will not be returning

Really average. The curries were bland and watery with less taste than a microwave dish. The samosas were soggy and limp & the onion bhajis were just pure grease. Won't be coming back here sadly

Absolutely great meal, and the service was excellent, first time that I have been to the Lodge India, but it certainly won't be the last !

For the second time in the last 3 orders the curry was not as ordered. As a regular customer who always has it very hot it is a bit disappointing. Didn't mind waiting 2 hours as long as the curry was as ordered

Good food. Service a little slow good value for money. Needs some heating as restaurant was very cold

Excellent food. I mean excellent. Good portions and phenomenal taste. Only missing a bit of spice although I think this is due to location and English customer base. We should have asked for something more specific. Really only marked down (4.5 stars really) on the app functionality and speed of service. They do however offer a drink if waiting for takeaway orders.Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere you will not be disappointed, Food is well cooked and service is quick. Eat in or Take-Away and friendly, lovely restaurant, I would really recommend it, the house specialities, chef recommendation and sea food special are absolutely amazing new dishes.Well price with a good selection of drinks
