Lord Moreton Country Pub in Shropshire

We have not visited for a long time.But it's a great place too visit .With lovely food and countryside.I am sure I would like to pay a visit 😃🐱With my family.

Friendly place staff spot on..food good and the footie was on aswell...👍

Short of staff, do the remaining people were grumpy and rude. Short menu available, my steak was nothing special. No condiments, soup spoons for dessert, choice of two things only. Then they said they had no cream cos the can was stuck so everyone had ice cream with their dessert. We were meant to go again but have chosen to go elsewhere.

Struggle for words if I'm honest. We were staying in the adjoining hotel where there was a notice that meals were unavailable in here. We popped over for a drink in the evening and were told "sorry we're closed". Once we explained we were staying in the hotel we were served one drink before it was made very clear that we wouldn't be getting another one.

Decent hotel, fitted our needs very well and near a little village. The lady at the desk (Eileen) was amazing! Offering us plates and cutlery for our take away and helping us with local areas of interest. She was so chatty and lovely, truly the best part of our stay

This was our first visit post lockdown. We've tended to have the carvery pre- apocalypse but decided to enjoy the current 50% off. The restaurant was clean and well spaced out. We weren't sitting on top of anyone else which was pleasant. The staff were lovely and friendly.The only downside was the wait for food but understandably the current situation of fresh out of lockdown added with the eat out to help out incentive probably puts a strain on the kitchen. The food was tasty, however, I would suggest they maybe give smaller portions though because even the kids meals there was a lot on there.

Oh my goodness we LOVED this restaurant. Ten of us went for an evening meal and there was something on the menu to satisfy all our varying tastes and requirements. Food delicious, cleaned our plates. Restaurant big and airy and staff REALLY friendly and efficient. Great place to eat.

Went for a carvery Sunday, staff friendly and helpful. BUT, when my wife went to get her carvery the person (or dirty pig of a human) was using her hands to pick up the veg/potatoes/etc.. instead of the kitchen implements... including the cauliflower cheese. This needs addressing.

My family enjoyed a delicious carvery here whilst on holiday. The staff were friendly and there was a great choice of vegetables to accompany the meats on offer. I also visited one afternoon when it was almost empty - we enjoyed a quiet drink outside in the garden.

Staff wonderful - couldn't do enough for us.Lovely atmosphere and good layout. Meal well cooked but the beef was full of gristle. Mushroom soup excellent. Good price. Would come back and try different meal.
