Went for a drive out with the family, called in and made a purchase of a pack of 4 Eccles cakes to which the lady shop assistant said “ That’s a reserved shop today “ make of that comment what you will , if I had been quick thinking i would have not bothered purchasing anything at all after that comment! To top it all the Eccles cakes weren’t that good , won’t be visiting again !

Visit many farm shops but have to say was very disappointed. Have no objection to paying a higher price for quality food but unfortunately all the items in our purchase that were produced in house by the farm shop were very poorly produced:Shortcake biscuits: extremely dry and lacking flavourBresaola: way over smoked and the only flavour was the smokeBlack pudding: lumpy and an awful rubbery textureSorry to say but wont be back, major fail

Disappointed today-looking forward to breakfast at the Ludlow Farm Shop cafe. Staying on holiday in Shrewsbury (live in Suffolk) and met my sister at the Food Centre only to be informed my dog couldn't come in. Evidently short staffed and couldn't open the dog friendly section! Had to leave😒

Visited this weekend and went to the kitchen for sit in food. Prawn sandwich with an order of chips one tea and one filter coffee. Coffee I had to drink asap as was already going cold. Prawn sandwich was £7.50 for two thick slices of bread and I mean too thick with minimal prawns snd salad. Coleslaw was nice tbf. Chips well if you have to resort to dipping your chips for a second time to heat them up then your not a cook or chef ! Side order of garlic mayonnaise with the chips was a nice gesture but with double dipped chips did not cut it ! I must say however the staff were very pleasant attentive and listened to our feedback. We were offered a refund but refused as embarrassed as the lovely lady who served us was just so kind !

We stayed locally for a weekend break and like to support local businesses and local sourced items We spent over £60 and enjoyed the bacon cheese and sausages but the pheasants we brought went off the next day and the smell was horrendous don’t think I will ever eat pheasant again The carrot cake we brought was also horrid and disappointing to seeFrench rather than local wines on sale. We really don’t mind paying extra for local and quality products but at the end of it feel a bit disappointed with what is potentially an amazing shop, bit more effort guys with the produce to make it great.

Really don't understand the volume of low reviews here. Been shopping here occasionally for over ten years, yes it is more expensive than supermarkets, but so is every other farmers or specialist market. Quality is superb across the board, lovely selection of unique local treats and I've eaten in the cafe a couple of times and had great meals there too.

What a treat , I wanted some ingredients for an anniversary dinner, couldn’t have chosen better, the 2 Sirloin steaks were just sublime, I have a really good butcher at home but my word these were something else. Also bought some veg, delicious Franks biscuits and frozen raspberries which were all super. I won lots of brownie points. I’d call here again when I’m on the A49. Highly recommended.

This is my first visit to this site and found that the overall appearance was very acceptable, the only remarks is as follows,I found the prices to be on the high side ,I presume because of the situation over the past two years, but my further remarks are to the Ludlow Kitchen,we ordered the special of the day, which was the Turkey Lunch,I found the presentation was acceptable but the vegetables were all undercooked, mostly raw,the roast potatoes were reheated with no flavour, the Turkey was moist but seemed to be processed.I made my feelings felt to the server,we had an apology and was not charged for the water. I am reporting the findings so that you can improve the standards for future customers.

This is a great little farm shop for some unique items. They had quite a few vegan items we picked up but not a huge produce section in winter. There are lots of little shops around the farm shop to explore and a gift shop upstairs.

We enjoyed our visit here starting off with a meal in the restaurant. Two excellent specials at a very reasonable price. Quick and efficient service from the pleasant boys and girls. No complaints what so ever. The other outlets are smaller than many similar places but you can't fault them for that. The farm shop is generally expensive but there is no obligation to buy.Similarly the Plant Centre which is more cottage garden centred together with ornaments etc. Unfortunately there wasn't anything that interested us in the adjacent shop but it's still worth a look.
