Lyons' Den Gourmet Burger in Shropshire

Lovely food and atmosphere. I had the salopian burger which was great and the blue cheese sauce was epic. Ta!

Came in today for lunch and yet again didn't disappoint. Service was great and food was epic.Only a 20min wait as they had ran out of veggie burgers but was explained which we didn't mind and was well worth it. Hidden gem of Shrewsbury.

this was a genuinely amazing experience. we came on a whim after 2 other places were full & im happy we did. its a genuine hole in the wall, you have to go through a back area and it is literally a hidden den.thats their only real flaw is the lack of advertising as it was almost complety empty on good friday at 2pm.the burgers were great, pricey but worth every penny. they had a huge varitey and even as a huge picky eater with ARFID i was stuck for choice. the beef was juicy & meaty, the portions were huge, id even come here JUST for the chips.the staff were nice, helpful & seemed genuinely happy to be at work and wow... the atmosphere.. its so genuinely pretty whoever designed the interior is a genius.i definitely reccomend coming here when you have the money & are in town. the burgers range from £10-19 but i definitely do not fault them, if anything its cheap for what it is.

Top quality burgers in an interesting, vaulted cellar setting. I can't imagine what people who think the burgers served by certain international chains are good must think when they try these. They even taste of beef! Might have given them 5 stars if not for the devisive and IMO too sweet brioche-style buns. That would normally be enough to put me of if I hadn't come here on a friend's recommendation.

Little step up from last time. Staff were good and helpful. Burger was decent, again the chips reminding me of walkers crisps. Everything was too expensive and stomach didn’t like the food. 2/10

Absolutely amazing experience. The decor and lighting is brilliant. The food was stunning. Very well priced and the service was excellent too. Can't fault it at all

Found this place when searching for places to eat. It looked a bit suspicious when you get to the door as you have to walk through tattoo parlours & salons to get to the actual restaurant.However, don't be put off by this! I rarely ever leave a review but this place was amazing!! Hands down the best burger I've EVER had!I would highly recommend visiting this place 👍🏼

Really enjoyed our meal at the Lyons’ Den. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt very well looked after. We didn’t get our waiters name but he was really nice and the offer for disposable cutlery instead of regular was a nice touch. Really cosy and unique spot and the brickwork was really nice to see. Will definitely come again next time we are in Shrewsbury.

The best burger I've had in ages. Good quality food served in a attractive setting by friendly, competent staff. A good range of bottled beers are available. I would advise you to book online as can get busy.

Such a cute little place! Arrived at 1pm, without a booking but this wasn't a problem. Good COVID-19 precautions in place, with a one way system and staff wearing masks. Service was so quick, staff very friendly and good was so delicious!! Not local, but would definitely make the trip up here again just for this place!
