Mayuree's King and Thai in Shropshire

Went to dinner here today and the service was more than 5 stars! I have been coming here for a few years from London and it is one of the best authentic restaurants in the UK. The professionalism is great and they really look after their customers. The new owners Mayuree are superb hosts and are maintaining the high standards. Thank you giving us a great dinning experience! All the best.

Read a review in the Good Food guide, clearly talking about the previous chef/ owner. Should have turned around when we saw the car park was completely empty. We were the only people in on a Saturday, Green Thai curry appeared to have frozen mixed veg & boot leather microwaved chicken. This is not authentic or fresh Thai :Still reeling from the price £126 for 4 & only two courses. Upset to have wasted our hard earned money.

Excellent meal and service. 2 or 3 courses for a set price which were superb, especially the dessert!!

Excellent Thai food, Nice cosy place and nice atmosphere very friendly warm welcoming staff & authentic thai chefs. I tried pad thai, Satay & green curry. all tasty can't fault it.

Wonderful food, warm attentive service, all at a very reasonable price.We'd been looking to eat here for a long time, and got the chance last night. The food was exceptional.In particular the bbq ribs, and the stir fired beef were exceptional.I wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone.

An exquisite experience. Do not expect your run of the mill menu. It's short and the taste buds will explode.Staff are nice.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My fiance and I went here for my birthday last night and had the most enjoyable experience. I am a lover of Thai food and this was up there with the best I've ever had! Lovely little place in a beautiful location. The staff were welcoming and polite and the owner very passionate about the food she creates. Definitely will be back!!Mark, Birmingham

Popped in for a bite to eat and had the free tapas when you order drinks. Absolutely delicious. Will be coming back for a proper meal. We sat outside in the beer garden which was OK. Very relaxing. The lady that served us was exceptionally friendly. Couldn't fault it.

Good Thai restaurant with some Chinese influence on the menu. We enjoyed our meal here with the starters being a particular highlight. The deep fried ice cream was an interesting desert, glad to have tried but don't think we would have again.
