McDonald's in Shropshire

UPDATE: I’m now wondering if either they know it’s me ordering or whether staff are now trained to deliberately put burgers into bags sideways so they fall apart. Seriously, how difficult is it to pack a bag correctly?This place has really deteriorated since the main part of the pandemic. Had a few incorrect orders but worse is the food quality. We've had burgers clearly just literally thrown together, ingredients missing, sauce and/or salad on less than half the bun, burnt burgers, cold food. It makes me think they're recruiting staff that really just don't give a....

Today, the 17th of February 2022, found me sat outside the outlet from 06:15 until I realised it would be a long time before they were ready to serve food. This was due to the staff being locked out and having to get an emergency locksmith to break into the front door. I don't know why the lock failed and it could have been due to an attempted break-in, sabotage/vandalism or just a mechanical failure but I had to go to another McDonald's for my breakfast. They had acted swiftly to get a locksmith on site and, coincidentally, it started raining seconds after the assembled staff were finally able to get in. This is not a negative reflection on McDonald's or the local staff except an alternative entry point would have enabled the site to open for drive- through service as usual and also put the lights on and possible electronic override options for the front entry airlock. It's always easier to be wise, after the event. I hope they are all sorted later.

A nice McDonald's, the staff is amicable. Especially an oldish man, who is lovely and helpful. He adds a supplement of the soul to the place. Sometimes it is a bit messy, and the staff is a bit overwhelmed.Edit: it's been twice now I'm not happy with this McDonald's. I ordered a salted caramel mc flurry, I received a chocolate one instead, I told the girl at the till, who answered roughly that it was a caramel one I had received, playing with the spoon in the ice cream. No, it was not, and that attitude was rather rude, but whatever, I gave up trying to communicate with her.I went again today and the chips and the cheeseburger were nearly cold.

Very friendly staff. Good food. What more can you say? :) They have finally fixed their hot water machine... Woohoo! Hot cups of tea again ;)

Kind of ok I guess my kid Finley wasn’t happy though due to having a book rather than a toy in his burger happy meal

Rule #1 When providing a service to the public...SHOW YOUR HOURS OF BUSINESS AND STICK TO THEM. They claim to be open from 6:00am onwards on a weekday. Today (21st Oct 2021) well gone 6:00 and not open, with people waiting outside. Feckless shift manager who failed on the first and most basic thing he agreed to do for his boss (the franchise owner) that being, open up on time.....Dude, you deserve to be fired.

Never had problem there before but i feel disappointed today. Went there this evening wiv my family ordered food fine but wen it came my one daughter was missing 1 chicken nuggets from her Happy meal so asked for another one wiv no problem then I sat down sipped my coke and it was really flat wiv no ice in so asked for another one which that one was the same wiv no ice in. I then tried my kids coke and fanta they were all flat wiv no ice in. so I decided to just eat my meal which was cold, I wud of complained again but they were short staffed so I decided to just eat it. I felt so disappointed today

I would like to review Meole McDonald's. It is located in Meole Brace retail park. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, in the centre of Retail Park just right next to the main road. The memorable characters that I always come across cm visiting the restaurant are really hard working and lovely young staff members. However sometimes forgetting to add dip source to my order.😊I would recommend that place to anyone. It's one of the best, busiest places in the county. Normally I am not normally keen on fast food restaurant. I am glad that I decided to go. Thanks 👍

Great service ! I walked-in for my lunch takeaway there. The staff are helpful and are able to help me to place an order in secure Covid-19 compliance. Feel safe to walk-in, and could get the takeaway quick. In this lockdown restriction the shop opens for walk-in and drive-through services.
