Morrisons in Shropshire

What has happened to Morrisons cafe? They have gone right down the pan in my opinion. I ordered a simple sausage, chips, egg and beans. The sausages were okay, but I ended up with lukewarm chips, and beans that were cold and a portion so small they would probably feed an ant and his family for a day. Absolute slops worthy of Alcatraz.

My daughter and I had our first visit to this nice cafe. Great options on the menu, easy to order via a touch screen if you decide or via till system. Children’s breakfast arrived warm and served with a fruit & drink - excellent! Coffee & fresh blueberry muffins lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff, assisted with a smile. Clean and airy atmosphere. Great!

We come because its cheap just before the food shop, but each time we come we are disappointed. Ordered tea, coffee, orange juice, and two breakfasts. Tea was fine, coffee was fine, no orange juice (we ordered on the app), breakfasts were cold, and sausages looked like they were from a couple of days ago. My poached egg was really rubbery and the yolk was black in the middle? Weird because they came really quicklt after ordering!Also everything was dirty, like they'd been cleaned but really badly. Maybe just shown soapy water, or just water, rather than actually cleaned.Really need to stop coming, it never improves, unless you want tea and a cake, don't bother 🤷‍♀️

The food is excellent, albeit dearer than before the Covid-19 lockdown. The control and system has changed and I am just coming to terms with the table allocation and menu changes. Next time I might try the "order from the table option". I recognize some of the staff, so not all new! I find the café convenient and should, in theory, result in my spending less in the shop, if I am not Hungery. I have yet to return for a Sunday Roast, usually a busy day, and see how the service and food have faired in the changes.

Went yesterday for breakfast, service was poor, got the order wrong twice and was sarcastic when I said about the order being wrong. Food was then served cold we ended up leaving this food because it was stone cold when it arrived back. Cutlery and table was also dirty. Do no recommend. TERRIBLE experience

Went in this morning small breakfast, large breakfast. Came out small breakfast bacon uncooked!! Beans cold no butter on spread. Large breakfast not must better mushroom uncooked dipped in grease, bacon uncooked oh and no sugar for tea only candarel. Awful breakfast girl did take my small breakfast back as said bacon not cooked zapped in microwave! Even worse god awful 😖

Love Morrison's breakfast. 3 rashers of bacon in the rolls. Vegetarian breakfast tasty. Reasonably priced. Lady on the till seemed to be doing everything from serving, taking payments, clearing up. Still had a smile on her face!

Staff are friendly and Emma on the till is brilliant.😊Cleanliness of cutlery and tables leaves a lot to be desired..I really wish I didn't have to say..but it's important.🤨Meals and snacks are cheap and good value. .but unless I was unlucky I wouldn't order Porridge as they have no idea how to cook it! Luke cold milk and uncooked oats was served up!🙄

Went to five tables before I found one that didn’t have crumbs, bits of other food or some kind of mess on it. Unforgivable during these times. Food cheap but you get what you pay for and I got a lukewarm full English without napkins. Couple at an adjacent table had to request clean cutlery.

While there's nothing particularly wrong with the place the service can be exceptionally slow and a little slap dash. That being said the food is acceptable for a supermarket cafe. I recently had a cheese and bacon burger here ear which was quite exceptional, very well cooked with a high quality beef burger and crispy chips totally lacking in grease. So the burgers are particularly to be recommended, but if you're in a hurry I try elsewhere.
