A fantastic little pub bigger inside than out. Service is spot on as we were 'squeezed' in as tables were fully booked. Gr8 and a must, recommended.

Lovely pub, friendly staff, great food and good size portions - roast turkey dinner was so filling I had no room for dessert, which was a real shame because they all sounded yummy. Service was a little slow but they were very busy. Would definitely recommend.

What a lovely chic pub restaurant. Although it is more restaurant than pub. Great selection on wines, beers, soft drinks, non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails. Local real ale served too. I had Wye Valley Butty Bach. The price is just right. It isn't cheap, but my goodness, the quality of the food is sublime. They are not shy on the servings either. You get your moneys worth and then some.My only criticism is that there is very little choice for vegetarian and vegans. We would definitely loce to return and try your new vegan dishes. The decor is chic. Lots of clocks. There is dining area outside on the terrace. Perfect for a sunny summer evening with your gal.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even when they are very busy. Credit to all the waiters, waitresses and kitchen staff today.

Beer still good. Gosh it has changed! Much cleaner and less crusty!! Gone for the modern rustic vibe. Nice wood burner. Younger staff not attentive, which when it's table service is an issue, older staff brilliant.

Booked a table for 4 for Saturday lunch 12.30. All ready when we arrived just before.Plenty of staff so no waiting but no rush either.Good food. 2 of us had the lamb cutlets off the specials sheet. Very good lamb with PROPER chips and fresh veg. Fish and chips was said to be excellent by the fish lover in the group and the sweet potato and pepper lasagne satisfied our 'veggie'. Puds were excellent. The sugared donuts with choc dipping sauce were yum. I had to try one as well as the bread and butter pudding. This was not quite as I was expecting or used to but was delicious.Overall excellent value for drinks, mains and puddings.Service very good and speed of food delivery exemplary.Ambiance pleasant and busy but not too crowded.

I had high hopes for this pub after reading the previous reviews. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The positives are the decor, friendly staff, prompt service, good location, tasty local beer, good selection of food and drink, and the main meal portions were big. Unfortunately the food was disappointing in taste (soup was too salty, the burgers didn’t have much flavour), and the coffees were watery/ not very strong. It felt like it was quantity of food over quality. It may be we were unlucky with what we chose, but I wouldn’t risk going back or recommend it to others.

Beautifully kept pub. Super view from the beer garden if you're lucky enough to get a seat at the back. The flowers are a great touch. Beer was top notch. Didn't have anything to eat but would be more than happy to return and have food sometime.
