Really good place to eat and have a beer. The man behind the bar served us and the was very nice and gave us a really good beer. The food was lovely and the plates were quite big. Very recommended if you go by this place.

Very 'local'. Popped in for drink after walking up the mill. A nice pint, even better if you like going to the toilet afterwards and hearing the locals say to the barman 'has he bought a drink?'Yes I did, in fact two drinks and a packet of crisps if it's any of your business?!

Traditional town pub. Good selection of beers. Food served in the lounge bar. Ask for menu at the bar. Good range of food at different price options. Friendly service.

Just out walking and decided time for dinner. Very welcoming. Great food. Mandy is a great chef and really looks after you.

Very accommodating. Good real ale selection and quality. Enjoyed the sandwiches and chips.

The beer was top notch. Staying locally on holiday and have visited a couple of times already and would happily do so again. Clean glasses, clean lines and great selection on tap too. Pool table is reasonable, little tight on the windows but nothing a short cue won't solve. Thank you very much!

Food was lovely and fairly priced.Young waitress needs to think about what she is saying, we only asked for some red sauce to which she responded sorry I'm too busy.

My wife and I had lunch here and it was delicious. We both had a baguette which included chips and salad and I must say not only was it well presented and very tasty it was excellent value. In addition I had Three Tuns ale which I thoroughly recommend. We shall be returning very soon to sample other beers.Phil and his wife were very welcoming and provide a friendly and professional service.

What can I say... The staff in this place are a dream! We popped in after a walk with our doggie and they were very accommodating of him, we had a good seat in the bar area and the team even made us pork baguettes especially as we weren't aware that it was a Sunday lunch menu only that was running, and we were only looking for a light bite. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area, and would really recommend stopping over. Charming country pub that deserves all the love 🍻♥️
