Osteria Da Paolo in Shropshire

We loved this authentic, cosy place - fantastic food and attentive, friendly service. The best lasagna we've ever had! Plus the pistachio cannoli and garlic ciabatta with smoked cheese and lard were delicious. The chef chatted to us afterwards and told us about the ingredients he sources from Italy over a shot of homemade limoncello. We were made to feel very safe, with spaced out tables, hand sanitiser available and staff in protective masks. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. Glad we reserved a table in advance as it was busy on a Sunday evening.

Fantastic place with a great atmosphere when we were there on a Thursday q. New Zealand sauvigon blanc at the right price. The 2 waitress were perfect. The food was on point. Good size portions. All in all well worth a visit

A hidden gem. Down a small flight of stairs into a little bit of Italy. Marta looked after us, going the extra mile to make our visit exceptional and she succeeded. The food here was top quality, it was obvious there was no compromise on the quality of the produce used. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We loved everything about this fabulous restaurant. Top marks for everything. Thank you Marta and Alex and all staff members for a GREAT experience.

7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our tasty, authentic meal here last week. The service was fantastic and there was a really relaxed, happy atmosphere. They also handled social distancing and infection control brilliantly. A huge thank you to Osteria Da Paolo. Five stars!! Highly recommend. See you again soon.

From the front the place looks quite unassuming. You enter down the steps and into a basement restaurant where we were greeted by the owners. Everything we ate was absolutely superb, food that you talk about for months! Then it came to the bill.. We had 3 courses each, plus a drink and it was incredibly reasonable. Will definitely come back if we are in the area. Hidden Gem!

My wife and I visited one of our favourite restaurants for our first wedding anniversary last night. We were not disappointed the food and service was fantastic and we will be returning again in the near future.Great value and the sea bass and steak dish we highly recommend!!!Thankyou guys a fab dinner and evening.

We absolutely love Paolo's, have eaten there twice in the past few months and we've been impressed both times. Nice menu, food quality is excellent, flavours spot on, wine is good, and service is strong.

Absolutely delicious food in such a unique wonder restaurant which makes you feel like you are in Italy!The staff here are so wonderful & remember you - even if you’ve only been once before!The food is absolutely outstanding & each order is made from scratch.The wait time can be painful for some, but if you want good food, it’s worth the wait! It’s also really nice to go out for dinner, relax, drink and talk with friends without feeling rushed! I enjoyed our evening here and will definitely be coming back to try our more of the menu.
