Out of the 2 in Wem I prefer the Pearl Dragon, plus you can pay by card which makes it easier for me.

I don’t particularly like giving negative feedback as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. However in this case, our experience was so bad that I have felt compelled to put pen to paper so to speak.This is by far the worst Chinese meal we have ever had. So much so that the majority of it went in the bin. It niggles me that I had to give it 1 star as in our experience it didn’t even warrant that.The fried rice was tasteless and a poor excuse for rice. The curry, well what do I say. It looked so processed and a colour I’ve never seen before, that I didn’t even risk tasting it. The Special Foo Young whilst it did actually have egg in it, and was edible, was made up of several processed and rubbery meats. You’ll note that I haven’t commented on the taste, deliberately so. I’ll leave that to your imagination. I suppose I can allocate the 1 star to that.All in all, a complete waste of money and has left me feeling that my Chinese culinary practices in comparison are up there with the best Chinese professional chefs. Or in reality our takeout was abysmal. I would like to hope that our experience was a one off, and indeed there have been some good reviews left on the site, however I’ll never know as I will definitely not be repeating the experience. Jam & bread sounds much more appetising.

Made an order this evening, quoted an hour for delivery. After eating for 2+ hours we were told it was just leaving. Decided to cancel the order and requested a refund. Was told that this was not possible and to call back another day or accept a refund. After being hung up on we had to visit the establishment to then have a 5 minute conversation with the manager to explain we did not want a discount on our next visit nor were we willing to wait for a refund. Reluctantly we were given our refund. The staff who handled the call were excellent and the food is normally on par. However, the customer service from the management is appalling and disrespectful as we were paying customers simply unhappy with the restaurant not fulfilling their agreement of an hour delivery service.

Pearl Dragon is one of my local Chinese Takeaways and the only one in the area that offers delivery. I love their food and have been eating here for years, I have never been disappointed by the food or service. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed with the meal I ordered this evening.i ordered sweet&sour crispy chicken.normally it's lovely but this evening was abismal.it was more sweet&sour soggy batter with probably not enough chicken to cover a chicken wing!!!

First time visiting, great food polite staff will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Amazing oriental restaurant takeaway. The best in Shropshire. Glad I was introduced to it and it’s now a favourite.

We have Chinese takeaways closer to home but are pleased we have discovered this place, which is worth the 20 minute journey for. The menu is extensive and the food is well prepared, tasty and the portion sizes are good.

Family had mixed reactions. Some thought the rice a bit dry on its own, the chips are more like oven chips and the omelette is served with garden peas rather than mushy peas. I really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. Different to what I normally have but really enjoyed it. The staff were also very friendly.
