Pizza Hut in Shropshire

Terrible and upsetting can never book on line for the buffet. Always have to wait until the more expensive times after 4pm so we don’t go. There are usually staff away sick and are often closed because lack of staff. Yet it’s a prime position. The staff need to be willing to work here and make arrangements for older people three times wen have booked only to arrive to day buffet not available and no tables available until after the buffet has finished. Shocking unwilling staff for a restaurant which could be buzzing with people. It never is.we have often gone in when no one is there snd been told closed due to not enough staff. We had even booked too.

Friendly staff, nice and clean place. Load of parking spaces. What I like the most is by placing the orders online by mobile phone. Easy & no stress.

Came here this evening for food. Waited over 40 minutes after our food for dessert, to decide to go up and ask what’s happening with it, was told they’d go check and let us know, 7 minutes later, still clueless, go back up again and ask for a refund. Someone came over and asked for the order number and email address, didn’t specify whether we need to wait around or if we could then go. Waited another 5 minutes, no one had come over to explain if we were being refunded, still no dessert. Went back up again to ask what’s going on, to be told they were making us our pudding and would refund us anyway, by this point that’s not good enough, we were sick of waiting and left. Unsure if i’ll receive a refund, but very disappointed all around with the service. We come here often and rarely have any issues. Don’t think that’s good enough customer service at all!

I was served by a lovely young lady with beautiful blue eyes who is also a celiac like me had a lovely gluten-free pizza and chicken wings

Great little party for our 6yr old grandson. Food was realy nice and staff were very helpful.

I accept that the staff shortages caused by sickness and positive COVID tests are undoubtedly a big factor at the moment. However, if a particular branch can’t provide a willing friendly customer experience as a result - then please just shut that branch temporarily; or restrict to a collection only service.I booked a table for my daughter and I via the Pizza Hut website. We arrived on time, just as a slightly harassed looking employee was shooing away some speculative walk-in customers.I tried to get this young man’s attention, but he scurried away without engaging with me. I eventually got him to talk, and he scoured some shabby A4 sheets of paper, and told me that he had no record of my booking. I showed him the emailed confirmation from PH, but he maintained that because he didn’t have it scribbled on his bit of paper, then the reservation wasn’t valid, somehow.Regrettably I then had to ask for the manager (like any proper Karen would). The manager was able to find a record of the booking and we were eventually seated.There only appeared to be two servers in whole restaurant. Mind you, we also appeared to be the only two diners in the whole restaurant. Despite this, it was very apparent that these two young people were having the ‘shift from hell’.It almost seemed cruel to add to their trauma by actually ordering anything. So after scanning the contactless ordering app for a few minutes, and then being chased up by a server to order, it became obvious that junior serving staff really resented our presence. So we left. Massive waste of our time. Not good for the brand. Can’t imagine that they really care though. Bless them.

Seated us with a child in the coldest part of the restaurant when there was plenty of space else where. Food was sub standard and very expensive, this used to be a fun family meal now its an avoid at all costs. Just dont go its not worth the disappointment...

Good food, very good pizza. Restaurant is clean and comfortable, nice enough atmosphere. Parking is ample, really easy access. Prices are reasonable and they have meal deals etc. Collection available too and delivery through external food delivery companies I believe. Only thing preventing a fifth star is the service can be a bit slow at times, even when not busy, you seem to get forgotten about sometimes. Other than that, staff are friendly and it's a nice place to eat out.

Brilliant service. Easy to order from your phone and well served and cooked food. Best birthday meal ever!

We have not been to Pizza 🍕 Hut in years. We were blown away by the full Vegan menu and it all tasted amazing from the No-Pepperoni Pizza to the Vegan Cheesecake Cake. Throw in the free Salad 🥗 Bar (almost all Vegan) and it was a total winner. Definitely back for more. Staff were friendly and helpful too. 👍
